Why do some games (carnival) and some game cube games not display a full screen and appear cut off on both sideds when using a HDTV Wii Cable.

I did not have this problem with the standard composite cable and it works fine with most games (mario galaxy etc)

Am I doing something wrong. I do have the wii set to the 480p setting.

Is it because my TV is 720p?

Any ideas?

I kinda guessed that also. I have read where people change view modes on the TV to fill the pic but on my panasonic plasma the other modes include the black bars on the sides even when zooming etc.

I justed wanted to see if others found this. And I worry about burn-in probs down the road.

From what I understand some games support widescreen play and some don't. I'm not really sure about burn-in issues. But let me know if you find out, I'd like to know too.
