MY Wii Life and Timeline

Late November: Heard about the wii, and thought it was....iteresting

Late November: Had plans book into buying a ps3 instead

Early Decenber: Went to my doctors office and he told me to get a wii instead

Day after: Though about what he said

Mid December: Asked my fater for a wii

Day after: He says ill get it after christmas since they are too scarce

Christmas 2006: Im opening my presents but it felt empty without the wii

Jan 1st to Feb 15: Looked for a wii all over the place and found one on Feb 15

Feb 15: Opened my wii and my life felt like it had meaning

Feb 15: Played Wii sports ALL day

Feb 16: Got Call of duty 3

Feb 27: Got Legend of Zelda Twilight princess

Feb 27 to May 3rd: Twighlight kept me busy until my birthday

May 3rd: Got Tiger Woods 08, Super Paper Mario, another wiimote and nunchuck

Mar 3r to Early june: starts to have regrest on getting a wii

early june: decides to sell wii

Mid june: changes mind

June 26th: Got mortal Kombat Armaggedon

Early august: Joined wiichat

Mid auguest: Got wii online

August 30: Got mario strikers

Mid October: Got NBA live

Early November: Gets hyped for brawl

Early November: nintendo does the unthinable and delays brawl

December 3: Hates nintendo, cause he could be playing brawl

Christmas 2007: Gets not wii related things, got laptop instead, good trade i must say

early jan: Borrows resident evil 4 and loves it

early jan: Brawl gets delayed again *sigh*

Late jan : hates the japanese for getting brawl first

Feb 10: need i say more??

Feb 11: preorders brawl

Today to march 9th: just waits....

July 2006: First heard about Wii at tennis camp.

August - October: Forgets about the Wii.

November - December: Becomes interested again and starts asking around at gaming stores.

January 2007: No luck finding Wii.

February 3rd: Wii arrives in mail as a surprise in mail. Plays all day and invites friends over.

February 19th: Joins WiiChat.

March 2007 - February 2008: Enjoying Wii, purchased many great 1st Party games.

April 2007:
Finally Find a Wii

April 2007-February 2008:
Enjoyed many Wii games, with many more to come.

okay heres mine:

january 2006- finds out about nintendo revolution

march 2006- finds out the nintendo revolution will be delayed from march to sometime near thanksgiving

october- thanksgiving came and no revolution/wii, then i found out it was the american thanksgiving

november 19th 2006- i line at six different stores in hopes of finding a wii. finally found one one the release date after waiting 11 hours outside in a november in canada

august 2007- my crazy wii game renting starts

november 2007- my crazy wii game buying starts

febuary 2008- the number of wii games i have is almost half of the gamecube games i had.

it took me from like late may to late june to get my wii. loved it, but then got bored and got a 360. RE4 got me back into it, and then SMG

hey I can do this too,

Mid 2006, start reading more about the Wii and capabalities

Nov 2006, stand in line for 9 hours, get Wii, ZeldaTP, COD3, Super Monkey Ball at release

Dec 2006, get irritated at Monkey Ball cause I suck at gaming.

Jan 2007, get irritated at Zelda cause I suck at gaming, find a good walkthrough and keep playing

March 2007, get SSX Blur and have a blast

Aug 2007, start freaking over MP3

Sept 2007, finish MP3 and start freaking over MOH:H2

Dec 2007, Have Moh:H2 and SMG, along with Driver, Mortal Kombat, RE4.

Feb 2008, Get ready for brawl, trade in several Wii titles and 2 DS titles for store credit, then go Skiing to pass the time

Wii's Timeline

May '06 - saw Wii and wanted it
'06 - Feb '08 - Wanted to get Wii but no money and shortage of stock wasn't really encouraging
Feb 3 '08 - Start searching for Wii because of SSBB
Feb 5 '08 - Pre-order Brawl
Feb 9 '08 - Got the Wii at Toy R Us!! : )
Feb 10 - Today - Enjoys Wii Sports and Mario Galaxy

Why is your doctor telling you to get a wii? If your living at home and your dad is buying your stuff you have to be a kid and if you are and your doctor is telling you that you need a wii maybe your biggest problem isnt what gaming console to get, maybe you should get outside and get some physical activity going.

Then again if I am wrong and you just chill at the doctors office looking for gaming advice and tips thats cool. Do me favor and ask your doctor if he thinks the new GTA for PS3 coming out is going to be any good, I am not sure if I should buy it in advance, thx.

haha no, im quite ctive already. he just asked me what i was asking for chirstmas and he's like "NO!!! you should get a wii, its so much fun" etc etc

OCT 2006 Hear there is a local store with a demo of this amazing new console called the Wii, where your actions controlled the characters... Queued up and played WiiSports for the first time, almost peed myself with excitement, same as the lady i VSed.

NOV-DEC Saved for Wii so I could afford RED STEEL, Zelda and extra controller.

JAN-FEB 07 Played Wii religiously, loved showing mates what it could do.

MARCH-MAY Novelty starts to wear off, begin looking for 'hardcore' games and buy MOH and Godfather.

JUNE-AUG Hardly touch Wii, fortnight where it wasnt touched once.

SEPT-DEC Wii gets very little attention, most of my gaming is on PC, but I hang onto the Wii in anticipation for things to improve.
Decide that maybe 2007 wasnt Wii's year and hang in for a better 08.

DEC-FEB 08 Play mainly GH3 and occasionally go back to unfinished games.
STILL waiting for killer apps.
