Yup the TV works fine, how would the cables short out? And surely thats a big coincidence that the console froze and the cable went at the same time...
Also, ive connected the audio from the lead into my home cinema system and there is no audio coming from it either so im thinking something has shorted from within the wii? |

That could also be possible..
Do you know if your friend took care of it before your purchase?

Have you phoned the support line yet?
Regarding controllers.. Try holding down the red sync button in the console for 15 seconds (thus erasing all synced remote) and then try to resync remotes

0870 6060 247 That's the uk number
and to resync you must press the remote sync button (behind the batteries cover) and the console sync button together Hope that helps

wii remote
I really hope someone can help me. My friend borrowed me her wii for a couple weeks because I wanted to see if I liked it before dishin out all the xtra cash. Well my hubby was just playing it and it worked fine until I put in Raymond and now the remotes won't work. The lights will all light up and stay on, both do the same. I have tried restarting the system, unplugging it and all, and changing batterier. I checked to make sure everything is connected right, I'm clueless!

What you need to do is press both of the sync buttons together.
One of them can be found behind the battery cover(litte red button) and the other on the system itself, inside the little flap on the front of the system (litte red button). Press both buttons together.. REP ME BY CLICKING THE LITTLE GREEN MUSHROOM

We just got the Wii and we were testing it out. After trying a game involving the Gamecube controller, we tried to use the Wiimote and the mouse would not appear on the screen. After a while of keeping the Wii on, the screen dimmed. Can you help me?

GC Memory Card Problem
Today i had bought a Dragoncube GC Memory card 64 Mega which holds 64mb worth of space - 1019 blocks And a Wavebird Controller. The wavebird controller works fine but the wii doesn't read the memory card in either memory card ports.
When i goto data management and select nintendo gamecube it doesn't read the memory card in either port and i can't run games as it says theres no GC memory card in slot a. So my question is whether its my system or whether its with the GC memory card itself. |
