Yes it is normal for the blue light to flash once quickly. If you want it to continuily stay on some one has to send a letter through exchaning like wii friend codes.

Hey Umm can anyone help me? I have three wii remotes. they all worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago when one of them now won't let the rotating function work etc.. which means I also can use the nunchuk to twist shake etc. I called nintendo and they told me to bang the remote on my hand incase the accelerater was stuck but it didn't work. Now I'm suppose to ship it is and see if they can repair it but I don't know where to ship it to. Technically Bestbuy should be the ones repairing it because my warranty is through them.

No idea about who to ship it to, but try hitting it against the palm of your hand a few times.

ok, if you bought the 5 dollars warranty in best buy, just take it to best buy, I think they will give you a new one, if not, they will repair it. if it can't be repair they will give you a new one.

Sounds daft, but are they in the right way up? Only reason I say it is because first time i put a game in my Wii (it was in it's vertical position) I put it in the wrong way round - it's weird for me putting it in the right way as I'm left handed
Try moving the Wii to a vertical position (if it's horizontal) or vica versa...
How long have you had the Wii for?

I've had it since December of '06. I've tried resting in vertically and horizontally...and it didn't help. And I'm putting the label facing up(horizontal position) and facing right (vertical position). No games of mine are working. It says..."Unable to read disc". Really uspetting...

So it just suddenly stopped working? Sorry mate I don't know what else to suggest, except to direct you to the official Wii Troubleshooting Site
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sys....jsp#wont_play
...I had a look through for you myself, and I'm afraid it ended at the 'send-it-away-for-repair' section

Yeah...
I called Nintendo, and they're shipping me a new system...no cords and etc...just the big old block itself. So...now I just wait before I can play anymore Wii.

This may have been addressed some where in the past 24 pages BUT
We've had our Wii for 2 days. It's been working fine but today after about 45minutes of play - it just powers off and then it won't restart until it cools off. Yes I understand it over heats BUT just after 45 mins in an air conditioned black room? Is this Normal?
I told my hubby to get the warranty but NO he didn't listen to me

When you put your disk in, is the graphics side of the disk facing left or right?
