Wii Troubleshooting

Hi: When I am in game mode all games play fine my only problem is getting back to main menu, the only way I can get out of it is to shut off system then restart is this normal. It has menu at top left of screen but clicking on it does nothing.

i recently bought a wii .It worked perfectly with all games for the last 3 months. However this morning I tried to switch it on and now it keeps freezing when i insert a disc. Any ideas please ?

Hey i really need some help.
I accidently left my wii on for a long time (a few days at least) and now whenever i turn it on, it wont read the discs that i put in. Have i blown a fuse or something? Can any1 help?

it could be the batteries, change them and see if it fixes it. if not try syncronizing your remote with the wii again.

the only other thing i can think of is something around you is interfiering with the signal.

Hi there,
My WII remote always shows low battery and keeps disconnecting. Ive bought several new batteries. Can anybody give me some advice.

my wii stopped working after I changed game disks at the press "A" screen. It turns on but that's about it

Check this out guys my Wii is all hooked up (to a HDTV) and everything but once I turn it on nothing shows.
then a couple days before it started working then it all of a sudden went haywire
any suggestions????

Does anyone know what this means on Mariokart wii.
When i go to play online it connects fine, until the screen where other players join...
Then this comes up...

Just purchased wii fit from singapore in 230 Singapore Dollar
what i find in box is wii fit balance board , one cd and 4 batteries.
Can you please advice me what other things i need to purchase more for playing Wii fit.
The cd which i find in box -- is it game cd???
or game cd should be purchase seperately.
please help...

My console is only 3 hours old, and problems already.

I hooked everything up, and it was fine...until I put the disc in. It says "unable to read disc". I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing?

Is the game or the console defective, do you think?

Yesterday i played brawl for awhile and then turned off the wii like normal.
Then today i turned on my wii and went through all the normal screens, but the wii-mote cursor does'nt show up.. The home button, as well as the + and - buttons work fine, but the cursor does not. I've never had this problem before, so im not sure what im supposed to do..

I have already unplugged the wii, Pressed the sync button on the wii-mote, turned off and on my sensor bar [its not the one that came with the wii..], and i did a soft reset [witht the remote]. Did i miss something?

D< darnit, i wanna play brawl. lol.

Hello!

Well, i was playing Mario Kart today, and then i turned off the wii.

Like 30 mins later, the dimm light turned on (like when u got a message) so i turned up the wii... It start normally with the Black screen of health... i pushed "A" as usuall, then i got the Wii Menu, and 4 or 5 seconds later, the image freezed, and i couldn't do anything... so i pressed the turn off button for a while, the Wii turned off, and then i turned it on again...

What happened? the same... i can only use the Wii for 4 or 5 seconds, and then it will freeze again... i tried everything... and nothing works... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!

Nami, try checking that your sensor bar really works by using a Camera or a cell phone camera to look at the sensor bar while the Wii is on. If you see all 10 uv colored lights: 5 on the right and 5 on the left of the Sensor bar, then the sensor bar is in good condition.

You can also check if the cursor shows up when placing two candles with the same distance between each other as the uv lights in the sensor bar are placed.

dr.rola, if you have a modchip installed these kind of problems can occur. In this case I would take my Wii to the ones that made the modchip installation.

Otherwise, it can be a overheating problem. Let the Wii be completely turned off (pull the plug) for a couple of hours and try again. Also, try without a game disc inserted in the drive.

If it doesn't work I would contact Nintendo.

We got our wii last christmas and had absolutly no problems setting up the internet connection, then we moved it downstairs and everything was still fine.

We got a card so we could buy the games from the shopping channel, so we went in to set it up and now no matter what I do, can't get it to work. I've tried searching for troubleshooting solutions, moved my router, moved the wii, and I just don't understand why it isn't working for me?

misswells, did you start over creating a new connection? When you try to setup the internet connection again. Do you see the wireless network when selecting search for an accesspoint and does the connection show up in a green color?
