Anyone who can offer assistance will be greatly appreciated. A couple Families all got together, and they each brought their own controllers to use. Today, one Friend called and said his kid's controller that he took home, won't work with his Wii. Thinks he has one of the four that three that we own. They live a distance from us, so we can't just run it over to get the right one. Does anyone know how to sync a new controller to their unit to use as the master controller? Thank you in advance for your help!

Turn the Wii on (using the power button on the Wii itself). Remove the battery cover on the remote. Press the red button. Open the front door on the Wii. Press the red button. When the LEDs on the front of the remote stop blinking, it's done.

For future reference, this is on page 22 of the System Setup manual ("Standard Mode Synchronization").

Your friend could've saved themselves a lot of time and frustration by simply checking the Nintendo support site first:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sys.../wiiremote.jsp

As with 99% of the questions asked on these forums, the answer is right there. All of two clicks and no typing after going to www.nintendo.com
