Then why create an account on Wiichat to troll with posts like this? Just sell it if you don't like it. There are plenty of people who want one very, very badly if you don't want yours. You can recoup some of that money you feel you wasted.

I would suggest you play with yourself. Or are you already familiar with that favorite troll pasttime?

If I needed to clean my Wii, I would use what I've been using to clean my computer components: Compressed/Canned Air.

if u think about it, i dont think dust will damage the inside think about the playstation 2, playstation 3 and dvd's they all get filled with dust.

to be onest i think it cleans it self due to the air and the fans in side them

As someone who's been working on computers and electronics most of his life, let me explain the sorts of things that happen:
  • Dust gets on the laser diode or optical pickup, interfering with reading discs
  • Dust collects on the IR switch sensors, causing a fault where the unit thinks something is open or otherwise in a position that it actually isn't
  • Dust collects on components that get hot, acting as an insulator and causing them to overheat
  • Dust clogs up the fins/pins of a heatsink, blocking airflow and causing it to overheat
  • Dust buildup acts as a moisture trap, collecting humidity until corrosion begins, damaging circuitry and leads
  • Dust gets into the bearings of the fan, causing it to slow down or stop spinning entirely, resulting in overheating
So yes, dust can definitely cause serious, unrepairable damage.

To be honest, you're totally wrong. A passive system would collect less dust. With a fan, it's drawing more air through it than it otherwise would, which causes more dust to collect.
