1. I asked wal-mart electronics manager if he knew when they may get some...he yelled at me..he said, "Why would you think we're getting them in? Are you stupid or something?" I talked to the store manager and got an applogoy.

2. Every gamestop lies around here. You ask them about WII and they look at you like you're stupid.

3. Yesterday my gamestop told me at 11am that there is no way they'll have any before January. I checked again at 12:00...same girl same answer.
I checked again at 12:45...there was a guy workign there this time..he said that they just got 2 in and sold them like 5 minutes before i got there.

4. Toys r us told me friday morning that they didn't have any after i camped out. I looked at games they had for about 5 min and when i walked to the front the same girl that told me they didn't have any was handing out tickets to go the back and buy one. She sold 4 of them. I told her...hey..you just told me you didn't have any...she said..."I wanted my friends to be able to buy them..sorry."

Her manager appologized but did nothing about it.

I guess it just depends on the person. I have been pretty lucky with people not giving me that much attitude. I don't know what I would have done to that guy you dealt with at Wal-mart.

Thats interesting. My boyfriend insisted on going to walmart late Friday night in some delusion that they would have a wii and was also berated by the electronics manager.

I guess they're stressed out or something but it's no excuse to act like that. When we were in Dallas.TX for chirstmas all of the stores were nice but back here in Lake Charles, LA everyone's an ass

My wife just got back from Gamestop. she confirmed that they will be getting a shipment in around lunch down here in Louisiana.

She'll be camping out there at 11:00 to wait for the truck!

just got back from ebgame and saw a UPS truck stop by but it didn't carry any wii today.

try tomorrow afternoon again. never give up.

dad just scored a wii in target in SCARBOROUGH, MAINE!!! and got the $29 3 year warranty

they had gotten a shipment that morning of around 40, lined them up at front.
no one seemed to notice, it seems.

so anyone in the portland, maine area trying to get a wii, call 207-871-1156 they might have a couple left.

Just got back from the mall. Gamestop got one in today, but I missed it by minutes. If you are willing to wait an hour, it would be worth it to wait at one of these stores from 11am to 12pm.

If I know a store is getting them, how early before the store opens should I get there and wait?

Huge shipment of Wii's came in today at Target!!!! They still have some and its 12:46est time here. Runnnnnn!!!!

See i just called my local target and they said they didn't get any....wierd.

My wife is still waiting at gamestop. if i could sneak away from work i'd go to target to see if they lied to me.

also just got a big NO form target. =[

Target just said this Sunday (31st) they are expecting a much larger shipment than usual (around 30 Wii's)

Just passing on the word. Kinda bummed though, I work from 5am-1pm.


EDIT: On second thought this does sound like the same old business of hoarding them untill a big shopping/ad day. So my guess is they do have them in the back but are waiting.

Walmart here says it will be hit-n-miss until Feb for shipments, and Gamestop told me they had five come in yesterday and sold out within five minutes of the truck getting there.

Starting to think it may be awhile before I get a Wii, given my horrid hours that I work.

Wife just called to let me know she just picked one up at Target in Roswell, GA.
Clerk said that these came in on a Target truck. Not UPS.

Super Target will get some too right, or just Target?
