After talking to the a customer service employee today he told me that he expects to get a shipment in on friday because their last truck didnt have any.

Ive been going to TRU, Walmart, Circuit City, BestBuy, 2 Gamestops, and EB everyday(all these stores on on the same block) around 12-130 and I always get the "we dont have any" "not getting any" "sold out yesterday" response from all of them. Its like there is a rotating answer programed into them. Yesterday one of the gamestops had a sign in the window saying "Sold out of wiis" and today the sign was gone so I stopped in and they told me they sold out yesterday

hehe... dredging up 5 pages ago worth of posts, but 2 nights ago, i dreamt that i finally got a wii >.<

then i woke up and was like "what the f***?"

i hate dreams that seem real. so much harder to part with :-(

everywhere seems to be getting wii shipments sometime before newyears, but when?

any news from anyone about Fairfield County, Connecticut? I've got 3 days to spend hunting :-P before school and crap start again.

I think some targets will keep the wii for the 31st, likes the target in my area, they said they don't have any wii today.

If i didn't make $30/hour i'd leave work early and go check target...My wife is still at gamestop waiting...i love her..lol
She just called and told me she befriended the girl workign there and she told here she'll wave her in and ring one up for her as soon as UPS gets there today!!!
Hopefully nothing changes!

It's about 1:46 here, so my hopes of finding anything anywhere are pretty dismal. I'm going to have to actually wake up at around 9 or so tomorrow and get ready. Does anybody know how/when mall EB/Gamestops get their shipments? I'll camp my local "main street"'s, but I want to have my mom posted in the mall too just in case.

I thought I saw someone say that some stores get shipments at 5 PM too. Does that happen every day that the 12 shipments come in? And does UPS generally come daily?

I'm still very confused :-S

Usually, ups has two shippment per day. But the ebgames guy told me that they only get one shippment in the midday.

Ok... just talked to the other fancy new Super Target here. Guy was as friendly and helpful as a cardboard box. No "hi my name is..." or "how may I help you" just guy sounding like it's the end of the world with one word responses to my questions.

Got to love that excellent customer service.

The person that I talked to at Target and GameStop were actually really nice today. I think yesterday they were swamped with people.

Unfortunately, no Wii's

GameStop and EBGames had them yesterday.

The ebgames in my area is the same. They had wiis yesterday and he said that maybe tomorrow or firday will has another wii shippment.

I wonder if this girl is lieing at our gamestop..she still claims they'll have some as soon as UPS comes in today..any minute now.

You can just stick around in the store at 12:30. Get in line and ask the cashier if he has some. If no, then go to the back of the line and try again until 2pm. If they get annoyed just say "I can do anything i set my mind to!"

I wonder how they even stay in business. My wife has been waiting there since 10:30 and it's 1:10 now./....she said only 3 people have been in the store all day.
I can't wait till she calls me and tells me she bought one!! (Crosses fingers)

Customer service I find sucks with all department stores. I phoned Zellers, Walmart, The Source and EB games. They all had 'no idea' when shipments would arrive.

I called a couple Target's in Western Mass and they stated that they had the wii "earlier today" but are now sold out. What the ....... I am going crazy. I have been laughed at from walmarts for calling. What does one need to do to get a freaking wii (live at the store, who won't tell you when they expect to get them)

This is making me sick....why do the people that work at the stores laugh at us and try to make us fell guilty for even asking? They use it like it's a power trip to make their little $5.15/hour jobs seem important.

I don't think they will laught anymore. A lot of stores are getting small shipments in daily now. Before Christmas, most stores would get them and hold them until a sales date. Now, they just throw them on their shelves. Most of the stores I called today said they had some earlier but sold out quickly. These things do not last long at all. I do, however, see Playstation 3's everywhere. It is kind of weird, but I am actually finding it easier to get a Wii than a DS Lite. I promised my two nephews DS lites for Christmas and wasn't able to come through for them.

a couple of walmarts use a list. I'm #2 on the list for their next shipment, unfortunately they do not know when the next shipment is coming. all I can do is wait...
