I'm from northern NC. I went to target at 8:00 the morning and they don't have it and they don't know they will get some wiis today or not. i will go back at 10:00 to check target again and also ebgames and gamestop too.

My wife just got back from Target and there were no Wii's.

She talked to the manager. He asked her to call him personally around 10:00. He said he isn't allowed to say they have them on the phone...but he will but some emphasis on it if she calls..he'll say.."we DIDN:T!!! get any"

If he does that that means they got some.

This sucks...
She'll take a shot at gamestop again at 1:00 before she takes our baby to the doctor but i'm starting to think it's useless.

I work in reading, mass.. there's a walmart and target right near where i work... I can check those and report back

I called Target/Walmart/Gamestop (same ones we are visiting) around 10:00 this morning. No Wiis in stock (or so they claim).

Can't go anywhere today my dad won't drive me. He knows how much I want the wii, but he wont do anything for me to get it. Tomorrow he'll drop me at the mall, and i'll race to EBgames. Noonish. And wait until something happens.

Would someone who got it at Ebgames tell me how it went? And How'll you'll know if they recieved any or not? And your experience with tips.

Please... that would be very helpful.

Ugh. I couldn't step it up today because my mother decided going to some museum with my little siblings was more important than getting them their... almost 4-week-late Channukah gift. I probably could have snagged one too. I would have time to post my mom at the plain old outlet, and then snag EB and Gamestop in the mall one after the other once EB gets shipments in. It seems they're receiving today too.

They are getting shipments today? Bugger! My dad wouldn't drive me anywhere. You know if EB gets shipments tomorrow? I'm hoping yes; so i can snag one noon-2. Since thats when i've been hearing they get shipments. So, All I can really do is hope! lol.

I live in the DC area, Northern Virginia, and its impossible to find a Wii anywhere.
I have called local Targets, EB games no go. I have visted local Circuit Cities, no go either. Looks like Best Buy will have Wii's on Sunday Morning.

Same man. Tomorrow is my last chance before I spend a day or two recouperating from new years parties with relatives. My only hopes are tomorrow, sunday, and monday. From then on it's back to school.

Same here. Schools back Wednesday. I have Tomorrow, Sunday, and maybe Monday. Depends if my dad will take me to the stores Monday. Well; I don't believe any relatives are comming over for New Years. But I really want my wii soon, before i have to go back to school.

Im Going there for a vacation, and COuldnt find one in canada yet, but got lucky on a pre-order in Canada, Still gotta wait around 1 more month. My dad booked a Hotel Near the White house, and me and my dad Will go to stores near there Or on The way there (Our family going on the car, 8 hour drive). So, Its like impossible to get one there? How long do you think we have to camp out on bestbuy?

Okay, thought I would inform you all on what I have learned and what not. So you all know I live in Northern Virginia, outside of Washington D.C. This morning I took an early lunch break and went to all the stores in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, and TRU).

I first went to TRU and the guy there was really cool and helpfull. He informed me that the big wigs of TRU have said that they are going to be getting a lot of wii's in within the next 10 days, but they do not know exactly when. He then advised me that I should come in or call TRU everyday and check, because they only know 2 distribution trucks ahead of their inventory. So, he said that he knows the next 2 trucks are not going to have any wii's but the third one may have some.

Then I went to Target, nothing there and the guy was not helpfull.

Then went to Wal-Mart and their was nothing there and that guy told me that they do not know when they are getting any, that their inventory of wii's was totally up to Nintendo.

Then I went to Best Buy, and the guy their told me that they got 28 of them in yesterday (the one place I did not go yesterday) and that they sold out in seconds. Which makes sense because I noticed a slew of auctions open up selling the Wii's today on Wiitracker.

Yesterday - I went to Target (a bigger one in Chantilly) Costco and EBgames. Target had none, same with Costco. Ebgames had none but the lady asked me if I wanted a 60GB Sony PS3 instead, since they had a bunch but they were not selling, which I thought was humorous.

Thought I would just add what I have learned. Good luck on you all getting a Wii!!

I am from Columbus, OH and went to two Target's yesterday. I went to one this morning at 9am and nothing both days. I am going to try one more on the way to work to see if they have it.

Anyone else from Columbus area and if they have any news or rumors about local stores?

I was wondering. Still. If anybody knows or cares to tell- to Wii's ship with other peripheral items with them? Like, do nunchucks/controllers come in at the same time as the Wii's?

Sounds like you live in my kneck of the woods. I live in South Riding, so I am near all those places you mentioned. Man I wish I had known about Best Buy.
Please post anymore new info, or PM me if you fins something quick. I work in Mclean, but can leave the office at any time to get a Wii. Thanks for the update
