Well, I'm in the realm of those who don't have a Wii (yet). Apparently from the wiiseeker site, stores are getting them on Friday, the 1st. Unfortunately, the only store in my area is Target - and they don't know anything about when they get shipments. Which is, of course, annoying. But I'm seeing two things:<p>that stores are getting them on the 1st<p>and that some stores are selling them on the 3rd<p>I'm curious to know what would be the best mode of operation to be there first to get one. Should I wait in front of the store on Friday (1st) or... I really don't know.<p> help, lol

I don't know if I'm just lucky or what, but I just dropped into Target today during my lunch break to grab a couple of things and I saw that they had a bunch in. They said they got 21 in.

I don't think the shipment dates on the wiiseeker website are correct. Don't go by those. It seems that stores are randomly getting them in. Yesterday, that same Target got in 9 20GB PS3's. I would say check your local store daily to see if they have them - maybe even multiple times a day.

Don't rely on the operator when you call to see if they have any in stock either. I called the Target today to see if they would tell me over the phone if they had any Wii's in and the Operator told me no. The electronics people must not tell the operator right away.

I just called 3 of the targets in my area, and one near my parents place in a different state. None of them got any in. The one target got a few PS3's but they were gone within an hour and were unannounced.

Called my local Rochester Target... I got a NO from the operator, and she refused to patch me through to Electronics. Next time I call, I'll make up another reason I'm calling so they'll put me thru!

The operator can at least direct you to the Electronics dept. But then I did that and to no avail.

I still want to think at least that only in 3 days can I go and possibly pick one up. It's a better answer than "whenever"... but I'll probably be moded. *ugh*

Finally, does anyone have an idea about when target gets shipments? Cause that *might* help. This is annoying. But my fault, nontheless.

BSDeez16 is right. Looks the shipment schedule must be national because I just went to the Target in Ann Arbor, MI and sure enough they got in a shipment of Wiis around 10 or 11. Unfortunately, I was too late. But it is somewhat encouraging news.

I've tried calling a couple of Targets around where I work and the operator refuses to transfer me to that department. I'll drop by on my way home and see if they got any in stock.

The Target near the OSU (Columbus, OH) campus got a shipment in and sold out within one hour today.

Grr, i'm sitting here losing my mind. Don't know whether it's worth cutting outta work early to check the local Target...

Crap I live in Dublin, OH and im gonna call some places today. That is just crazy.

if it makes you feel better, (which it wont) i got mines at gamestop the day after it launched, just walked in and bought it. i almost crapped my pants. The ups truck had just came in.

Called my local target and they haven't had any in since last Sunday. Bah

No store is really going to tell you when they get their shipments in. Most of them do know but aren't allowed to tell you. your best best is to just call everyday or something and wake up early! =p

Been staying on top of a few places,

Wal - Mart has them in stock but was not allowed to buy one because of their ad run dates. I got different dates from different Wal mart locations. On said Dec 1st, another said Dec 3, and another said Dec 6th. I think it's crazy to put the WII's out on the shelfs and then refuse a customer who wants to buy one.

Best Buy- Was told they get 12 nintendo WII's this Sun Dec 3.

Gamestop. THEY SUCK. I was one of the first people to get there this morning and the UPS truck just delivered. The girl told me she didnt have time to check shipment right now and the she would have it done by 1PM. So i come back around 12 45 and was told they didn't come with the UPS shipment. Try back later Fedex delievers through out the day. So I stopped back in around 4PM and talked to her again. She said they haven't received a shipement of wii's yet, but later in our conversation she let it slip she received some today but already sold them. THAT'S NOT RIGHT! I absolutely hate dealing with people who are obviously holding out for their friends when they get a shipment. ESP GAMESTOP IN ATHENS GA.

My only day off and no luck.

hurry walmart.com has the bundle in stock! just take the game sback to the store

I called best buy and they won't be getting any until next week (apparently, the women in electronics told me) in Ontario at least.
