The Target I'm camping at for Sunday told me they get all their Wii's through UPS, and the Sunday shipment of about 30 will be coming in tommorow (Sat) and will be held untill opening on Sunday.

Still... going to probably hang out at Target tommorow around delivery time and make sure they don't pull a Best Buy and sell them right away.

yeah that's how my day went in today.

hit the targets / TRU / best buys and nothing. one thing that was pretty funny was how every single one of those places had extra PS3's hahaha, people tried so hard to get me to buy them.

other than that, the gamestop I went to sold their last Wii 20 min before I got there (10:30 AM) they told me that they are getting more next week.

TRU said this weekend but not sure if sat or sunday.

Target people just had no clue.

Alright guys, going to Walmart again to try and see what this "come back at 2" thing is about. I know I'm probably just setting myself up for a let down but hell... I have to try.

Hey Taheen, thanks for that. Do you mind if I ask you where you're located?
So we're looking for UPS trucks at Target, that's good to know. I called Circuit City and they get theirs through FedEx. I didn't find out anything about holding until Sunday though. I guess that means early mornings at CC and Target tomorrow AND Sunday!

Just to toss it out there, this board has been awesome. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. Instead of being nowhere with no leads and hope, I'm still nowhere but with a ton of leads and much more hope.

Worst part about all this searching is the employees that either lie to you or have no idea what is going on.

Just one question...how is it that a major corporation can't tell when a shipment is coming in from UPS yet when I order something online using UPS, I can track its every movement until it arrives? Just curious about why it's such a hard thing for these stores to do as well.

I got one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got it from EB Games, I was in there when their UPS truck arrived today around 11:40 I arrived in the store 11:15ish and one guy I asked had said that they wouldn't get any in today's shipment but I stuck around looking at PC games and then I was about to give up, walked out the door and then saw the UPS guy stacking boxes on his dolly to deliver on my way out.

I came back in. A manager was around this time, they listened to my tales of woe he told me to stick around as they opened the boxes and they had a wii! (and PS3s).

!!!!!!

FYI:

I went to Target at around 10 AM. One guy said, "No wiis". Another guy (new according to his badge) said they had them in back! So check around 4:30 - 5pm cause that's when they would probably put them out.

I was going to check back after EB Games but now I don't have to!

Gonna set up the game now.

Kristi, I'm in North Dallas. For here it looks like:

Walmart 24/7: Won't tell me how they come, only that they find out about Noon-2pm if anything came.

Gamestop: 10-11am via UPS but they say they don't know what's on the truck.

Target: 11-12:30 via UPS on weekdays and never back to back (IE: shipment yesterday so none today.) Over they phone from two days ago I was told this Sunday at opening they would have 30 units. Today after a major let-down false promise from one of their employees I talked to another one who confirmed that every other Sunday they get large shipments in (they get them via UPS Saturday and hold them untill Sunday) and this Sunday is the one in the rotation to recieve. The seems to be hope then that Sunday is the day for Target.

Best Buy: Won't answer any questions even in person. Don't know how they come, when the come, or what comes. But they told me don't bother with Sunday just try again Tuesday or Wednesday.

And I'll say it again... calling in my experience is wasted time. I've been lied to by Target yesterday about their shipment, and it seems to be the case everywhere I call... no info at all. But if you go in they seem to be a tad bit more open to giving you info.

Wow. I went just about everywhere today, I went to Target @ 10AM. A let down, the guy said "No." And that was that. Then I went to Best Buy. Nope. Then Walmart. Nope. Then EB, nope. Went back to Target around 11. Nope.

So, Sunday is the day, huh?

My Target isn't very helpful at all. They wont tell me nothing. It's really a drag. I'm planning on going there sunday, but i'm not camping.

You think there's a chance I'll get a system without camping out; but comming one hour or so before the store opens?

That's what I'm doing Alex. I don't plan on camping but since they open their doors at 8 I think I'll get up at 5 and drive over.

I don't think my dad will wake up at 5. Last time we camped out at Target we got their at 4. Turns out, 15 people slept the night there! Wow, I don't think it's going to be that way this time, so hopefully, all goes well. And comming to the store at around 6-7 will be good timing.

Okay, finally got this through. Would you guys be willing to copy and paste this and add info for your area. I'm trying to see if there is some sort of pattern to these Nintendo shipments (now that we know that the shipments are coming straight from them)
