Well since I can't get one today, I was wondering what the weekend shipments are like? Do they deliver wii's to the stores on weekends?

went all over at the delivery time today.

-target didnt get any today

-best buy didnt get any

-Game stop claimed they didnt get any. got a very strong vibe that he was lying or hiding something, decided to just get out of there.

i will check what is up with target tonight. seeing as i work there. just hope someone i know is working over in electronics.

anyway I went back to target, and I wasn't told anything new. Just the same "most likely sunday". So I might go there saturday and see if they're doing that ticket thing they did last time.

The employee at target (bay area) said inventory showed ALOT of target has at least 6 in stock including the one i was in, but he insist that they don't have anything, and refused to go to the back to check. very frustrating

My Wii Experience:

Ive been searching for about a month and reading these forums like the bible to find this damn machine......everytime Ive gotten screwed either 1-3 people away or just horrible luck. Im thinking they made this machine for me cause my name is Qui(sounds like Kwee) and the Wii...kinda rhymes but all my buddies say Im cursed not to have it cause all the troubles im going through to find one. Ex. Camped Norwalk Costco, Ca Dec 2nd and the manager told me they are getting them in that night promise (I had one of my friends call every hour on the hour to make sure). Get there at 2am no1 is in line and finally at 4 one of the workers said ya we got them we are just waiting for the truck to come. 30 mins later security comes and says, Nope come back Monday. Monday comes I oversleeped and called at 9am pretty giving up already and they said they had 24 with 15 in line! This place is an hour away and they open at 9:30, i got there at 9:40 goin like a 100 and I just missed the last one!!!!! Drove home stuck in LA traffic pretty much wanting to kill someone. So i pretty much gave up trying but I decided to go to target out of the blue yesterday to check, they gave me the usual "No we don't have any and I have no idea when they are coming." As I'm Leaving my buddy that works at best buy across the street texted "We have Wii's get over now." Floored it over ran in line and they had 7 left....The boxes to me had an aura around them, it was beautiful. I FINALLY GOT MY WII........what luck

Keep searching if you don't have one......I actually believe you if want it that bad you can find one before the new year!! GL

I would have had it today no problem but I made the dumbest mistake of not calling the BestBuy closest to me (which sold the last one around 1:15pm) first thing in the morning. Instead I went to Target where I was given false promises for 4 hours.

I'm just sick of the reply of they don't know when they are getting them. Just look in the computer system...if any regular person can track a package sent via UPS then a major store chain should be able to as well.

I know I want to kill someone, I told my dad we should go at 10:00 yesterday when my friend called me when he was there at 8 and they had a bunch left and then they dont have any today.

i called every story today and nothing as usual except for circuit city...they told me that they will recieve a shipment saturday around 6 and will bring them out on sunday. He told me they will start passing out vouchers between 8 - 8:30 sunday morning and the store opens at 9.


also i went to gamestop just an hour ago and they told me they got in 3 wii's in the morning but they were sold out...i called in the morning but they told me that they had none...do they lie on the phone or are they too lazy to check?

I hear that. I slept in on Wednesday and decided to look online instead of in the stores. Wednesday was the last day any were available in Philly.

The TRU warehouse is in NJ, which is near Philly and they had wii's online on Tuesday (the day before they showed up in stores in Philly). Well, they had a few online today (while I was out going store-to-store, of course) so I hope that means a few will end up in stores here this weekend!

Hmmm, that's interesting. iTrackr has been showing a Target near here that supposedly has wii's in stock, but I call them again and again and they swear they're out. I think that I'll have to check them out this weekend. Perhaps they're saving them!

my itrackr says that a target near me also has wii's but they don't...you have to check when the itrackr last updated

Where is this Circuit City? Any idea if other CC's are doing this?

By the way, I think that the more likely scenario is that the GameStop people were saving the wii's for their friends.

so, itrackr is a dumb ho. I went there and waited for awhile, nothing, they didn't hear anything about it.
