You're right. Good idea. Only for me it's impractical. I don't live even remotely by any walmarts... So at least for me, it's out of the question.

How do you know you can just return the games and not the system?

I called the walmart 1800 number and spoke to a customer service lady who confirmed that I could indeed return the games back to the store. I actually spoke to two different ladies today who both told me I could return the games.

Are there going to be more Wii sold this Sunday (12/3/06) at best buy like last week?

Just got back home and dropped by a few targets and a toys r us. One guy at Target told me to check back tomorrow and the toys r us guy said they might have them on Sunday and to drop by then(his demeanor and what he wore suggests he was above a line-level holiday temp employee, maybe a senior or lead).

Umm, hawt. But that doesn't make the Wii come any faster. Maybe I'll pull an eric and freeze myself. Friday I think is the day. Er, well, hopefully.

I had my mom looking who told my neighbor and long story short today my friends brother's girlfriend's mom found wii's about 50 miles from my house and managed to pick one up so....it's all about who's got your back

That said i won't have it til sunday when it can be dropped off where i go to college, none the less

So...excluding running around and checking stores every day, would one say that my best bet is to pick a store (probably Best Buy or Wal-Mart from what I'm hearing) that seems to be selling on sunday, 12/3, and get up at like 4am and wait there?

If not, what would your advice be, and if yes, which store?

i called my walmart an hour ago and the guy said their getting a shipment friday and will be selling them 6:00 A.M saturday morning. im getting there at 9 friday night!

Where's this Walmart located? Maybe I'll give them a shot and see what happens.

i just got done calling around 10 places...most stores dont even botherd to tell me anything about the next shipment. the ones that did, however, stated that its most likely gonna be around "late this week / early next week"...so this basically means that its either gonna be sunday camping (i dont really wanna camp all night tho to be honest) or luck on fri/sat morning...

plus: i believe some stores are holding back for dec 6th. i dont get why tho. its not really like they dont sell without any special ads or anything.

so basically we should all start looking 1st-6th of dec. well at least that's not a really braod amount of time... >.> this whole things sucks. is it a marketing scheme or something? Because I would just produce a bunch... enough, even.. cause I would think they would sell - and sell more, at that!

yup that's what im doing. waking up at 4 and going to best buy on sunday. If I dont get it then, then **** it i will just have to wait.
