so, I've deduced a plan that'll work for me, and people who live near me. The target I go to, restocks every other day I've noticed. So sunday I'm gonna wake up ub3r early.

Ok, they only saved Wii's before christmas for sunday because they had to save them for the ad. The people at target told me if theres nothing in the ad for it, it comes whenever nintendo decides to send them more.

I tried target no go, i was expecting this since it was 2, they had not had any shipments that day, have a feeling they are holding on to them. Walked into gamestop 2:45 and got the last 1 out of 3.
But yeah not to gloat or brag but this goes to show that wiis can be random as hell sometimes, and good luck to the rest of you, never give up the search, eventually wiis will be as easy to find as ps3s  |

Well tomorrow im going to head to bestbuy target and toys r us they each havent had a shipment in like a week so its bound to be in sometime soon.... i really hope that i get one before the new year i dont know why but thats my main goal (i think i can, i think i can, i think i can......lol) well i gotta go to bed soon another early day tomorrow.... i hope i get lucky i have been telling myself that for the last few days of hunting and it dosent help...

I called a Target store yesterday and magically they had 2 wii's remaining. I jumped into my car and shot to the store as fast as possible, and when I got there they had just sold their last wii to an employee!
What irks me the most about this is that the employee worked in the electronics department. They said he was on break. It just sounds like he waited until their was only 1, and then took his break and snagged it.
I spent a lot of time today in EB waiting for their shipments to come in, and eventually just left (after 2 hours) when they didn't receive any word from their trucks.
I'm going to hope that this new itrackr thing is reliable as they say that my Target (Central NY) has wii in stock . If not I will just call the stores and see what happens around ship time.
It's gotten to the point where I want a wii not for it's fun but for the principle. Oh well, any other CNY people looking for Wiis?

i have been following this thread for a while now...and although it helps give great info on rumors and such about where i might find a wii...i have failed terribly to obtain one...i haven't even gotten close... 
but hopefully tomorrow that will change b/c i finally got a reasonably good answer from CC and TRU today when i called...(i have given up on EBgames and Gamestop)
The guy i talked to from Circuit City said that they didn't have any in the store but they should have a shipment of them in the morning at about 8am tomorrow...so i will begin there...
...Then...the woman from TRU said that they also didn't have any in the store but she did say that they might get some tomorrow and that i should try calling again between 1pm and 3pm tomorrow b/c thats when they usually get their shipments from the FedEx truck...so i will be hanging around TRU tomorrow...
...I hope this helps some of you on your search

the itrackr for my area almost never gets updated the clocks are always gray (10 hrs or more since last update) grrrrrr.....

Well, I've made my first step towards wii ownership. I went to another BB and Target tonight (and Gamestop, what was I thinking?).
Anywho, no luck on the wii front, but BB did have about 50 wii-motes. I am now the proud owner of a wii-mote. I am now dedicated to finding it a wii-mote friend and a console to connect with.
BTW, this was the BB in Springfield, PA. Oh and I've also confirmed with the Target in Springfield that they DO NOT have wii's in stock, despite what itrackr says.
