It wouldn't be so frustrating if so many people didn't buy up the Wiis just to re-sell them online

Finally got one. Here in Oregon, the Fred Meyer stores were loaded with them yesterday. Missed one by about 5 minutes at the one near my house in Clackamas, called up the one out in Sandy (the boonies), and they had 15 left. Classic controls and Nunchucks seem pretty available at places, but it's the damn remote that isn't (as to be expected). They said they were coming in fairly regularly. They get the shipments at about 11am when they do.

When I was in line to get mine, some little punk ass, who couldn't have been more than 15 or 16, was getting all pissed because they woulnd't sell him more than 1. He got out of line to wait for the manager. Well, there were 4 left after me, and guess how big the line was?

I wanted to stick around to see his little plan to make money NOT work.

Hahaha, man..what I would do for just 1...That kid should be so lucky to even have gotten that one system for himself.

Alright guys and gals, here's the story for here:

Gamestop: No shipments on the weekend, and no idea what day they may get them. Still tell me between 10-11 is the time ups comes.

Target #1: NO MORE WEEKEND SHIPMENTS! It was a X-mas only thing and this Sunday will not be a big day for them. That's what I was told anyway.

Target #2 (super target): Same thing, no more weekend shipments. Best to try your luck between 10am and 2/3pm. But the electronics rep I talked to a few times now told me it'd be best to try other places other than Target. He said they won't hold one for me if I call, and he's not sure how large future shipments will be or how often now that the Holiday Season is over.

Best Buy: Try randomly during the week between 11am-Noon.

Wow, i am having some terrible luck. I had TRU flat out lie to me about getting a few Wii's in because when i called the next day, they told me that had gotten and put out a shipment an hour before i called the previous day.

I finally gave in and signed up for itrackr. Has anyone had any luck? I went into a gamestop that itrackr said was instock as of last night and they said they didnt have any and had not received a shipment in the last few days. Has anyone had any success with it?

I didn't get to check anywhere today. I haven't called about tomorrow yet. But I will even if it gets me nowhere, got to try everything. Aha, I was really hoping my dad would actually drive me to TRU or something. No such luck. Tomorrow's my only real chance. Then there's waiting a month or so, but i'm not sure im up for that. It's all patience.

Just got back from my local Target. The guy in the electronics division said they were expecting 24 this week but they never came, which explains the absence of them. He said they are hoping they will come next week.

I hope Itrackr.com is good with Target since that and EB are my 2 closest places.

As far as I know, I don't think no more holding until Sunday. Are they putting them on the shelves soon as they recieve them? I'm still checking Sunday but srsly this is so frustrating. :|

Circuit City - Lied...None...
TRU - None and dont know when they'll come in...
Best Buy - None...they have no idea...
Target - None...said to try again tomorrow

Looks like i'm gonna try Target tomorrow and then TRU if i have time...
