Hello everyone, Im new to these forums. I live in Canada, where the local TRU gets constant shipments, but of course my christmas gift was a certificate to the local mall. This leaves me with an EB games, and a Source store which sells Wiis.

Does anyone know how their shipments work? The guy at EB games said first thing in the morning, but I read in this thread they receive it at noon. Do either of them have weekend shipments? Sorry if its all been covered somewhere in this thread, It just seems counterproductive to read posts from November to now :/

Exactly...and tomorrow is my last day to search...then i gotta wait til they are as easy to get as the ps3 is lol

ANyone live in NEw yOrk?, Walmart said they're getting them Monday/Tuesday

ANd BB and CC employees said they didnt know anything about a Wii/PS3 sale for NYE (new years eve)

i have till tuesday, tuesday, i'll check best buy, Traget, CC, and TRU. since i'm hearing BB is no longer holding them for tomorrow. but i'm going to check anyways. rather safe than sorry! lol.

I used to work at Target and all i can say is don't trust us. We just say try again tomorrow so you can come to the store again and possibly spend some money on something else so we can get some profit, and you will eventually come to us again to get wii.

I could just wait a few weeks til they are easier to get. Hell I work at GameStop so I could get one when we get them, but we're not getting them for a few weeks and I want one really soon.

No Wii's in Austin(CC,BB,GS,TRU,). No text from itrackr.com. Everyone I talked to in the store said "next week". Anyone else hear of shipments this weekend?

itrackr has disappointed me.... it has not updated in over 10 hours for all of my stores.... i am beginning to think it may be a scam. I have also called every store in my area and no wiis for me. Tired old lady who works at TRU said she has some reason to believe a shipment of wiis will be in tonight for tomorrow, so maybe!!!!

I'm going to try tomorrow and then monday/tuesday. since my mother works at walmart and i am hearing that monday/tuesday is the day for them. So, hopefully i get it then. if not; i give up.

so I'm gonna go to target later today. Since this one time, they were giving out tickets for people who wanted to get the Wii the next day. (Since I've noticed this target has an every other day kinda system of getting Wiis). The ticket only lasts till noon. So if they don't do the tickets I'm just gonna leave my house at like 5 and wait by the door. (woulda done for, but I can't drive till after 5am)
So if any of you live in my area, and there's one wii bought, that'll be me

i tried to day twice and once again no luck..... i tried BB, CC, Target, Walmart, Costco, Eb Games, Game Stop, TRU and Kmart. None had any info. I came close at Kmart (super redneck walmart) they said they had only gotten 4 since it came out and 2 came this morining i was 10 minutes late

So, does anyone have any updates about the Dec 31st holding rumors? From what Ive been reading, most stores have just been putting them on the shelf instead of holding them. I was planning on getting up early to hit Target, then BB when it opens a couple hours later and then finally gamestop an hour after that. Do you think it is worth my time?

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but unless people are saving them, or get a shipment in today, don't expect a wii until Tuesday.

I'm going to try tomorrow just like any of you and will be pleasantly surprised if I find one but no small business carriers work on Sunday, and most likely will not ship on a national holiday (monday).

I have sunday morning reserved for driving around the shopping district looking for a wii.

I have no doubt that Tuesday morning they will get stock in at most of my local stores. However, work starts back up on Tuesday and unless I can duck out during lunch at 10:40, I'm SOL until 2 weeks from tuesday when I get my break to get ready for classes again. Good luck to all of you.
