Ok fellas, I was just at walmart talking to my inside man and picking up more Nunchucks and Remotes to sell on ebay. ANyhow, my inside man told me they already had boxes sitting there in the back room that were to be put out either on the 1st or 6th. He said their manager hasnt figured out which it was to be put out on??!! Anyhow, he has confirmed they had alot in the back cages he saw but they werent gonna put it out till then! Just looking out for my friends!

To the person above who asked who delivers for Target, UPS does. I work for the company and we have shippin in all of Best buy and Targets PS3s for a fact! Walmart is getting thier Wiis in by the regular truck though I think?

A brand new Costco opened up in the Polaris area of Columbus, OH this morning. 40 Wii's were in stock, gone in a matter of minutes.

Well mines coming on the Ups truck this morning! But enough of that, Walmarts around here I heard are going to be putting them out on the 1st but not sure how many they got in. Best Buy likes to put there stuff out on sundays for some reason. I think alot has to do that there ad breaks on that same day which they hope will bring in more sales!

So does anyone have any information about the demand/supply numbers for the wii? I mean I know 4 million worldwide by Christmas, but how does that line up with demand? What are they saying will be the supply story after Christmas? When will the supply/demand curve be such that I can walk into a Best Buy and see one on the shelf? I'm not asking when supply will exceed demand, I'm just curious when the supply will exceed the demand of those willing to wait in line overnight to buy up the units that shipped over night? Are we talking first week of January after the Christmas rush?

Just finished calling up another Toys 'R Us near my work and they said they'd have them in on Sunday. That's the second one so far that told me that.

What if it's a 24-hour walmart, should we show up like at 7 or 8 the night before? Don't know how camping out at a 24-hour walmart works out. Do you have to wait outside the store or will they let you line up inside the electronics dept?

The first is on Friday people, remember that, so show up Friday morning!!! Dont screw it up in case they release for sure on the 1st! You could be missing out! Ill be there trying to buy one or two to put up on ebay! I fund my own Wii needs with these sales! lol Remember friends, Thursday around midnight you should sit around the electronics and ask if they are going to put them out that early friday morning!!!!!!! The prices on Ebay are starting to really take off cause of the huge demand!!! Get yours or some kid will take yours instead!

So basically I'm going to my local target, which is the only distrubuter in my area (my area sucks!) and inquire as to whether or not they have any and if they plan on putting them on shelves in the morning. Regardless of the answer I get, thursday night (around 12 am) im going to check if anyone's waiting. Then, I'm going to go back to target around 7 (and hr early) and then see if they have them in the morning. Finally, if all else fails, I will come back around 12 pm to wait for the UPS trucks to come and/ or wait in line in store to make sure i get one. And it will be mine. [muahahaha].

i just got off the phone with walmart and the lady said they'll be getting 10 wii's on wednesady(the 6th) and be selling them at 8A.M (damn i have school) Oh well i still have best buy on sunday, and ill still check walmart saturday.

People who buy out the Wii's to sell them to spoiled brats and Soccer Moms on Ebay need to be tortured to death.

Hey I called and got a nice person on the phone today from Gamestop/EBgames.
They mentioned that they never get trucks on the weekend, and they will definitely have some in before the weekend (meaning either thursday or friday)
The employee also told me that although Thursday could be possible, Friday is the more likely two of the days. I suggest to everyone try calling their local Gamestop/EBgames and mention this information, and see if any will squeal and fill us customers in Happy Wiihunting!
