Still on the Search for Wii?

Aha, yes. I've been searching for the wii for a good month. Still no luck; got quite close but nothing. My first time camping out got #21 out of 15 wii's. This kid in line was being quite a snob, saying he was all last and we wouldn't be recieving a wii. but it's all good, waiting makes me want it even more. lol.

I seriously doubt that wiimotor has a wii, it seems that he/she or it is just trying to stir you guys up. Probally just sitting around in his underwear watching the care bears and wishing he had a wii then decided to say he had one so he could be above those here trying to help each other find one. Lame it tell you pretty lame...

I've gotten into the habit of grilling the people at the stores. I don't ask "do you have wii's", I ask "when did you last get wii's and how were they delivered". I already know they're gone, I want to strategize for the next shipment. For the most part, people are willing to answer these questions for me.

At first with me, I was looking for money for it. And what sucks is I went to the midnight release with my friend, where if I had the money I coulda gotten it. Then that whole fiasco yesterday at target with me. And tomorrow shall be my final attempt for awhile, because of school and finals and garbage.

I wish I was able to adopt a positive attitude. Its become an obsession. I might just be the first case of a new mental illness. My parents go me the games I wanted for it, so its absolute torture.

A lot of stores are also saying the first week of January they are receiving some shipments of the Wii, so we should also keep an eye on that if we don't have any luck tomorrow.

See, I knew i'd have the money for christmas. and if i would've gotten it before, i'd repay my parents. but no such luck. and for me too, schools comming back, and i have only tomorrow, and tuesday. if i don't get one, i give up.

Ahh, I see. That would be complete torture. Having the games but not being able to play them.

I have Zelda and RRR I beat RRR last night at my friends house, it is an easy game but some of the minigames are hard and multiplayer is fun.

Until I get a wii I have been keeping myself busy with www.gamewalks.com

Yep, I hear it. I found wiimotes yesterday, so I got one. I haven't sunk to opening it up and pretending, but it's only a matter of time

IMO, I think you need to call more stores and "interview" the employees about their past wii shipments. I doubt these shipments are completely random (at least it doesn't seem that way for the states)

I babysit all the time so I can't walk to the stores to interview but employees are about useless as tits on a man on the phone. I always get hung up on if I try to interview too.

I resorted to Ebay - but got it 3 days after I paid for it and have been playing it for a while...

... yeah, it sucks to overpay, but hell... I wanted to play.

Seeing how hard it STILL is to get one, I'm glad I went the ebay route.

Have prices dropped on ebay? Gonna go check it out.

Interesting. The Target nearest to me just got a PS3 1 min. ago according to itrackr. So they have either been holding this thing or there is some sort of overnight delivery. Hmmm...

Well, according to itrackr my local gamestop has the ps3 and has had it for the past 2 days. i've been checking reguarly about wii, but couldn't help look at the ps3, yesterday there was two locations, now only one.

Hmmm that's makes things difficult considering these things usually show up midday. I wish I knew what to tell you.
