its sad enough that i can't find a wii but...

itrakr says that 7 of 7 EB/Gamestop have the ps3 and so does CC in my area...and i talked to probably 5 people in CC at about 10:30am and they said they had no idea when wii were coming [i couldnt even get a usual time they come in]...at that time they didnt have any ps3 or wii but now itrakr says they updated their stock and they have ps3 there...so i wonder if they ever got any wii in...this searching blows...

I could easily check there. But I don't know. I'm def. going to BB, target, and TRU, though.

Yeah, here supposedly 23 of 32 retailers have the PS3, whereas 2 of 31 have the wii (which they don't, I've called and visited each)

Me: I was wondering when was the last time you've had wii's in stock or if you knew when you'd see them on shelves again.
Electronics: A looooooong time! Ha Ha. We don't know when they come in because they don't ship in our trucks so I couldn't tell you.

And there you have it, I'll dispel that Wal-Mart rumor so some of you can go to sleep.

But that's the interesting thing. PS3's also ship through carriers (I watched them be delivered to TRU by DHL), so then how the heck is the Target near me getting them NOW??? Were they delivered earlier and the boxes just now being opened or are they being delivered tonight somehow? I am glued to itrackr, praying for a wii update!

Are you going off of itrackr? Lord knows how that thing really works. They claim they use the inventory system but how can we be so sure?

And for all you know target unboxed the ps3's this afternoon or evening and is shelving them now.

As for wii updates at target, according to them my target has had wiis since Tuesday. Which is true, they had them Tuesday and Wednesday, and have been sold out ever since.

Hi everyone,

I'm curious if anyone has advise on stores like Fry's Electronics, MicroCenter, Costco, BJ's Wholesale or Sears? I'm seeing most folks talk about BB, CC, TRU, EB, GS, and Target. I'm thinking about hitting the road tomorrow to see what I can find. Sorry if this information has been discussed, but my initial search did not bring up any results.

Fortunately itrackr reports these Targets as being out of stock for wii's. It also reported them as being out of stock for the PS3's, something that I confirmed during my visit today. I think that itrackr is definitely crap for the GameStops and EBgames, but I still have hope for it for Target.

As BJs is wholesale I'm not expecting much. Their videogame department is kinda lackluster to begin with and their consoles are always sold in big bundles. I don't expect to see wiis there for at last another month or two.

I'm thinking it might not be worth going through all the trouble of getting up and driving around. I'm going to try the circuit city thing. Apparently last week they advertised and my CC did not meet the demand of 20 per store that was mandated to run an ad. I'll see if maybe they'll try again (they display a sign in their window "Sold out of Wiis!")

I guess there really isn't going to be a science to this anymore. Just good ol' fashioned luck.

Sears seems to be pretty useless for Wii's where i live (west of cleveland). I went in there today and a couple days ago and they didnt have a single product for the wii, nor the PS3, but for some odd reason they had PS3 games mixed in with PS2 games. They had a ton of xbox 360 stuff but not a single sign or product hinting at Wii's.

I think that the majority of people here will be posting again the first week of January saying they got the Wii. I'm hearing the same answer from every clerk I ask. They all say first week of January. So everyone rest up and get ready to head out this week.

Tommrow as in New Year's Eve Best Buy should get around 10. Also Best Buy gets them in like every morning here in oklahoma. So go tommrow early.
