My Plan tomorrow is to get up at 8. Go to Walmart and Target. If no luck there I'm going to head down to Best Buy and test my luck there. Good luck to all of you.

New Years Eve Shopping Day. They are also getting ps3's in. Also if you check the Sunday newspaper they have details about it.

umm.... i JUST called two walmarts (yes 1:15 AM) and the people at both said the shipments for tomorrow arrived as scheduled for tomorrow and they just finished stocking it all and there wasnt a single wii. so... walmart is a no. they seemed to be telling the truth.

I am considering a quick run to bb and cc tomorrow morning. good luck to all.

Ok! i'm going to westquay in 5/10 mins (to get there at 8:45) Hopefully they'll get them in and theres about 5 shops near each other so i have more chance. wish me luck!

I'm from seattle and haven't had much luck finding a wii. Is there any really reliable way to find out when new shipments are coming in? GOd I want one so bad.

Just got back from BestBuy and Target and there are no lines formed at all. Only unusual thing was Target had all of its lights on inside...

Anyway, I'm off to sleep.

Sam's Club: got absolutely nothing. Doubt they'd carry them in reasonable numbers anyway. For PS3 release they only carried 1 unit =/ (for comparison. Funny sight, too. Forgot to actually ask if they've ever even gotten a Wii console, but I guess it's because I wouldn't rely on their stock at all.

Fry's Electronics: said they were supposed to receive 20 units on Friday (11/29), but had never received it.

Target: Each were also supposed to have shipments throughout the last week of December, but reported never receiving even one since the 17th of December.

Wal-mart: hasn't received a shipment in almost a month, and I find that most peculiar. I'm going to try hitting them up tomorrow. It doesn't seem all that far fetched to me: New Year's Eve, come buy their wii, and load up on booze and party stuff to ring in the new year while you're there shopping. To avoid too many visits throughout the day I'm just focusing on 8am (for no other reason than the employees mentioned that's when they actually found it in the back and started bringing them out during their last stock). Probably the only store I'll try that day. Maybe....maybe Best Buy for no other reason than blind hope.

Well I finished my rounds checking to make sure there were no lines forming outside any store, so now I must sleep before I start the whole frustrating struggle again tomorrow (for a brief hour or so).

Best Buy uploaded their weekly ad onto their site, and I did not see any Wii information. I don't think that's very good news.

They do have a minimum of 25 PS3s at each store though. Good news for anyone looking for those.

EDIT: Target just uploaded their weekly ad, no Wiis in it either. Anyone know if Best Buy and/or Target (or anywhere else for that matter) will have Wiis in today (Dec 31st)?

Went to Best Buy (4am) no line....waited around a bit and a car pulled up. It was an employee waiting for someone to open the door for him. He told me he didn't hear anything but usually a line would have formed already if they were getting any in. About 20 mins later a manager came out and said that they didn't have any Wii but they were going to have ps3s when the store opens at 10. So no luck there.

Went to Circuit City to wait, no line, after awhile an employee came out and said their truck came in and no wii's. So again no luck...

Went to Super Walmart...no line...asked an employee who then asked the manager. Manager came out and said they weren't getting any in today. They already unloaded the truck....Again no luck....

Went to walmart, was told when they come in they go to the manager's office first so to call at 7 when the manager gets in. It's 5:53 now.

SO I guess at 7:15 I'll call the walmart, if no good news then I guess I can try Super Target around 8/9 and if not i can try gamestop at 10

This Sucks.

thanks for your sacrifice and hard work but why do you go through all these troubles when nobody said wii is coming today?

no lines in at any stores in mass... target said no and walmat said no... guess i'll try it when they open anyway then it's off to bestbuy and toysrus and if im stll awake gamestop..... i got a better chance with pam anderson the getting a wii

I read somewhere earlier in the week that it might come out on the 31st. Seemed like a logical date lol. Plus imagine if I didn't check and it turns out they did have them...

Okay, I got a huge interest in the Wii. Out of the 3 consoles I found

XBox 360 was nice and all but huge and overheated plus I heard huge complaints about the overheating and disc scratching and it's a hefty 400 dollars.

PS3 has sexy graphics and all but isn't backwards compatible and who the **** would pay 600$!?

I found the Wii to have good enough graphics for me, cheap and affordable! Huge demand though. I got my hookups at the local small Wal-Mart, today they had none and are truthtelling nice people about it and don't get mad, they had a huge delay because Nintendo had some sort of shipping problem to them, but everyone says tommorow shipments going in everywhere so I might be in luck... Hell! I may even have my own Wii in 7 hours. I was one of the people who camped out on Amazon.com a couple days ago for about 5 hours and didn't get crap cause they sold out in 9 seconds.

well...i bought xbox360 for 300 dollars(it had price sale for last 2 months at microcenter) and it doesn't have overheating problem. But I exchanged 5 times due to defective systems (in 1 month! 5 times!)

and 20GB ps3 is $500.
