Still on the Search for Wii?

i mean are these 4 stores ALWAYS in the same mall?

Well, i got up early today to hit both walmart at 7 am and Target at 8 when they opened. Neither had wii's and neither had anyone outside at the opening waiting in line to see if they had some. Even though the holding rumors were dispelled, i hoped, since my target hasnt gotten any in in a very long time, that they would have them today. No such luck. Im going to best buy at 10 though, nobody was waiting outside at 8, so im not going to get too hopeful.

Oh, and im really starting to doubt itrackr. The thing hasnt updated since it told me that a gamestop had them instock the first night when they really didnt and hadnt gotten any in in over a week. The stupid thing still says they are in stock and no other store in the area has had anything at all change.

So I tried the walmart that told me to call back - none

Went to Target, there were 5 other peopel waiting outside for them to open, we all ran to electronics and then they told us they didn't have any. I decided to drive to toys 'r' us, they open at 11 but an employee came out and told me they didn't have any.

So now my last opportunity are the gamestops here. There's 2 in the mall (10am) and one near target(11am).

So today I've tried
Best Buy
Circuit City
Walmart (3, i went to one and my parents to 2)
Target (2)
Toys r us

Just called my local Target's electronic department. They said that they did not have any Wiis, and they have been truthful thus far... so

You can get wii controllers from walmart, i'd say check back every hour, now i have 4 nunchucks,4 wiimotes, and 4 classic controllers

I was the 3rd person at target this morning to try and get a Wii and I was crushed when they said.

"Sorry but we didn't get a shipment in because our truck god caught in a snowstorm. "

Wow. I'm really impressed with the effort that so many of you made this morning. You all deserve a wii much more than myself and I'm sorry to hear that you all came up empty-handed.

I stayed up last night until I was pretty sure (via itrackr) that none of the Targets had gotten them and then just resigned myself to no wii until 2007.

I hope that everyone has a Happy New Year and gets their wii's early next week!

I made my run to walmart, target, best buy and toys r us. Was there at the opening for everyone and none of them had it. No store has gotten a shipment in since the 26th here except for a late shipment at toys r us in which the employees lied to me on the phone about. When was at best buy though, only about 5 people were waiting outside to get a ps3 and they had a cube of them with probably 40-50 in stock. It seems like today was a bust for anyone looking for a wii.

Tried Super Target 1st in line. They said they didnt get any in.

Wal-Mart They said they havent got any since launch.

Best Buy 1st in line. They said they might get a late shippment of them in today.

Going to the mall later then to EB Games then Game Rush. Wish me luck.

I don't get how these stores are claiming they might get Wiis in. It is Sunday. All Wiis are delivered via UPS (at least in New Hampshire/Mass). UPS doesn't ship on Sundays. Am I missing something?

Hey all, i'm new to the forum, but i've been watching this thread 4 abougt a month. I've been trying to get a wii since it came out, bu i've nvr even been close. None of these sites help at all.

This morning i went to Target, but they said no, in a rude way, so we left, but on the way out one employee said that they are no longer keeping wiis till the morning, but they get them weekdays around 12 (as it comes through fedex or ups) and told us to try then. Personally i hate target, as when i went to cali 4 part of break, i visited 3 stores duirng the whole target has wiis thing. One store didnt have ne wiis, but we asked if he could track other targets, and he gave us a list. We stopped by a store, but they basically didnt know anything about wii -_- and didnt know when it wud come. The last store we went to there were 3 employees there, and they all said something different. One dude said they were holding them 4 sunday, another one said that they didnt have any, and another one said that they had some but sold them...... I fukin hate target.

Why has nintendo joined up with the capitalist fiends?

Since today ultimately seems like a failure for finding wii's, ive been hearing a lot of talk about monday and tuesday being the days that a lot of stores will be getting in shipments. I know monday is a national holiday, although most stores will be open, will they ship that day because of the holiday? And also, i heard something about tuesday being a government holiday due to the death of Gerald Ford. Do you guys know if this will affect stores getting them in?
