No one knows the answers to your questions for sure. Here is my best guess:
UPS/FedEx delivers Wiis to the stores. Monday is a national holiday. If you check the website for these companies (UPS & FedEx that is), they list tomorrow as a holiday for them. Connect the dots.
Tuesday is a better bet.

Best Buy was getting shipments of PS3s all week long (from UPS and/or FedEx). Their employees were ordered to save them in the back room to ensure that there would be a stock on Sunday. All this information is contained in this thread....just take 15 minutes to read the last week's worth of posts.

I apologize if I sound a bit impatient. Folks come on the board and start a lot of rumors that just aren't true. I'm trying to save some people some gas money and heart-ache by pointing out the common-sense answers to the "when/where can I get my Wii?" question.
People should pretty much forget about getting one before Tuesday.

Save your gas energy and time. It makes sense, wait for tuesday. Monday is not going to work for anybody, every person I've talked to says that they are shipped through a different carrier than the stores. This means that tomorrow, a National Holiday, there will not be any wii consoles.
It sucks, but find something else to do with your time today. Ring in the New Year with your friends, you'll have a wii before the end of the month.
