Just found an article mentioning Nintendo's plans on shipping Wiis by the end of the year.

So old? In what way? the article refers to december 29th as the past, that means it was written at the earliest on the 30th.

Luckily I have to go grab some groceries at Walmart tomorrow, I can speak to someone then.

It doesn't say anything about that shipment being the only shipment for upcoming the year. It's merely an update on their next expected shipment for the end of the year.

Nevermind, i misunderstood the article. That doesnt seem like a lot. Anyways, i just read that they were suppose to have shipped 4 million by now and are suppose to have another two million out by March. Then probably the other two million over the remainder of the year.

call tomorrow (today) to check...but def try goin there to see if they got any in on tuesday...

i wouldn't count on it though...seeing as how tuesday is considered a federal holiday...

More should be shipped in the following weeks. A couple of days ago it was reported that 3.19 million Wiis have sold since launch, which makes me wonder what happened or is going to happen to the other 810,000 Wiis that should have been sold and I doubt they were sold over the Pre-New Year week, according to this thread at least.

cmon people use common sense... of course there will not be any wiis in stores tomorrow, it is new years. they wont have couriers delivering until tuesday. tuesday would be a good day to expect more wiis. tomorrow places like walmart will only be open to sell what they already have.

Just got an Itrackr alert that the EBGames by my house put them in stock overnight. Yay!

Itrackr is not accurate for EBGames. They only seem to update their inventory system at 4 am a day after they get the inventory. It is most likely long gone.

Been lurking here a while, don't normally get up early enough for it to matter, however I had way too much to drink last night so went to bed fairly early

.

Anyway, went to Target here (Danbury, CT), 4 playstation 3s 0 Wii's. They also told me they get their shipments the night before and put them out in the morning, so thats that. Checked Wal-mart, they said they won't be getting any shipments in today. Shipments meaning anything, not just wii's.

I'll probably be checking all the other stores when they open at 10am.
