Went to GameStop on my lunch break...was in the store as their UPS shipment arrived...no Wiis. Guess I'll try again tomorrow. Sucks having to work all day, otherwise I would go to an area of the city with lots of stores and stalk the UPS/FedEx trucks...hehe.

So kbtoys canceled my online Wii order on Jan 1st. Just for the heck of it i tried Target at 8am, no luck. Another target at lunch, no luck. A game stop at lunch, Sorry we aren't getting any in for a week.

Tried the toys r us on RT 18 in New Brunswick NJ. They had about 15 just arrived about 5 minutes before I got there. (12:15 ET)

I'm just a lurker here, hoping to get info on the Wii like everyone else...but I came across some information on another site (the Gametrailers forum) that I thought may be of interest to those still looking for the Wii.

One poster on that site said: "I work in the electronics department at Target and I heard my manager talking on the phone to the manager at the north Target about every target in the U.S getting at least 5 wiis on January 4th thursday morning to sell. This is no joke go to target thursday morning when the store opens and i will guarentee they will have wiis. The last thing i heard him say was they won't do any advertising at all to avoid people camping out or possible riots.
Im posting this on every gamesite so everyone can hear this and have a chance at getting the wii they have been wanting for a long time.

I GOT A WII!!!!!!!

Had a feeling that this week was the week for Best Buy or TRU, so I got to TRU at opening today and my boyfriend headed over to BB. I lurked around TRU for about an hour waiting for the FedEx and DHL delivery guys (my TRU does not get wii's from UPS). The FedEx guy came at about 10:45 with nothing. The DHL guy came 10 min. later and asked for a cart because he had a large delivery. I asked him if anything was from Nintendo, he said that he didn't check all of the boxes, but he was pretty sure he had wii's.

He came in with a bunch of boxes, some of which were mailed from a company that I didn't recognize the name, but on the label they said "with sports" so I knew that they were wii's. The lady in the games department was really nice and went back and opened up the boxes right away and CAME BACK OUT WITH MY WII!! So I bought Zelda and we stopped off at Blockbuster and rented a couple more games. My boyfriend is setting it up as I write this.

The last shipment that Philadelphia got was last Tuesday and we got them again this Tuesday. So if your town got a shipment of wii's anywhere last Tuesday, go to TRU IMMEDIATELY!! If your town got them last Wednesday then plan on spending some time at TRU tomorrow! Please stay there, don't just ask for them and leave. A guy asked for wii's and left about twenty minutes before they came. A family came in right after I paid for mine and asked for them and were absolutely amazed to hear that they had just come in. There's the randomness for you.

Just called target here and they got a small shipment of them but im waiting for my moms bf to get off work to drive me there.

On monday they had one in stock 3 minutes b4 i got there....Im gonna make my dad go to TRU on Wednesday and Target thursday....screw Best Buy

By the way, the TRU that I got mine at is at 3rd and Oregon in Philly. They got a sizable shipment and I'm sure that there are still some left. If you're close enough, you might want to make a trip.

I'm not sure how many wii's there are per box, but TRU got several boxes. I'm guessing there are 5 per box, meaning they got at least 15. They also got remotes, but no nunchuks.

Anyone know if they are gonna receive shipments in TRU in the San Diego area? Also, what time did you guys go to TRU?

You need to call your TRU and ask them when they got their shipments last week. They will likely get another one a week later. You are probably waiting for their DHL delivery. For my TRU, both FedEx and DHL came right around 11:00am.

Toys R Us definitely has them today. Just picked up mine with 2 year warranty at TRU for 305. They made me take the 2 year warranty, but for 40 bucks it's worth it

Hit Target this morning at open, no luck.

Hit Gamestop/Target #2/EBGames between noon & 1:00...no luck. The UPS truck was at the mall while I was there, but I had to get back to work, so I could only camp out for about 20 minutes. For all I know, the EBGames in the mall could have received Wiis after I left.

After reading these recent posts I also called the TRU, but they said they didn't get any today.

How can they make you take the warranty? I was offered the warranty and I chose to take the 1 year one, but I didn't feel forced. That's really uncool if they are forcing the warranty on people.

When did your town get them last week? If I were you, I would try to get down to TRU and confirm that they didn't get them in. Then I would wait at TRU tomorrow morning for the deliveries to come.
