Sorry you're having such a hard time finding a console, lots of people have been going through the same thing. I think its just a game of luck at this point. I wasn't in a position that I could be available to go and queue up for 10/12 hours on release to make sure I got one, so my husband and I just had to take our chances on finding one when we could. We actually got lucky through a friend, who collects HotWheels, he was at a Fred Meyer at 7am, and they'd just had a shipment of Wii's, so he grabbed one for us.

TRU at Burbank had 6 out (1 out when we left) when I got there and unloaded 2 more boxes (6 more Wiis) out. I ended up getting 2 (we were 2 people) after an argument with the cashier and a nice talk with the manager. The cashier was an idiot.

1 Wii is for my gf's mom (she wanted to her one for her my gf). If she wants it, I'm going to sell the other one. If she doesn't want it, I'll probably sell both (I might keep one).

Ok i'm officially pissed off. I just got off the phone with gamestop and they said they got a very small shipment in, and I asked when and they said about an hour ago........thing is, I called an hour ago and he said he had nothing. Same exact thing happened about 3 hours ago with a different EB. I'm getting pretty fed up with it all, I think i'm just gonna try Target on the 4th. =\

So I checked iTrackr this morning around 8, and they said that Targets near me had Wiis and when I called, probably around 8:12, they told me they didn't have any, but iTrackr still reads they do. It's still coming up as in stock there, think iTrackr is accurate enough with Target to warrant me waking up early tomorrow to get there by 8 to possibly have a chance? The whole recieve Tuesday, shelve them on Wednesday thing?

All the Gamestops I visited told me they would have them late this week or early next if they did, but that doesn't help much unless your going to loiter or call every hour since they only get a few in.

I have to miss checking 10:00 stores since I have a dentist appt...bleh.

Don't trust Itrackr unless the status is recent. There has been a Target on my Itrackr that supposedly has wii's in stock, but they actually don't (went there twice). I'm not sure why they sometimes don't update, perhaps a wii got stolen, so there's no way for the system to know it's gone?

Just hang in there guys, you'll get one soon! I've been playing mine for a couple of hours and I can say that it's definitely worth the work that goes into finding one! Good luck!

I would definitely, DEFINITELY go to TRU at open tomorrow and hang around until DHL and FedEx come! So many TRU stores are getting wii's, I'm sure that your TRU is due!

This strategy might not work, but it worked for me today. All signs pointed to TRU getting a shipment either today or tomorrow and it certainly was the case!

Ok I live in the saginaw, michigan area.

I called best buy today the 2nd, at 4:00 PM I talked to a nice employee at BEST BUY, they said that they don't have wiis. I asked when was the last shipment, she said a few weeks back, i dnot know if thats correct or not but, then I asked when UPS ships to them, she said Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. She also mentioned she was getting a shipment today at 8:00 PM but she didnt know if it would include any wii's. She told me to call back around 8 PM, what are the chances they would have wii's. I am thinking they might cuz ive been hearing some rumors for tuesday shipments. You think i should go check today? plz help thanks!

I'm telling you all, just call in constantly and when they get a shipment bribe the person on the phone to put one in the back for you. $20 and you've got a Wii with your name on it.

Last Wednesday target said they had 20, on Thursday they had 8, I missed the last one to an employee.

so if our cities last big shipment was last wednesday then it will be wednesday again?...maybe thats why i cant find any today
