Ughhhhhhhhh I went to BestBuy, Target, EB Games, Circuit City but I totally forgot to hit up Toys R Us. And right at the time I was around a Toys R Us I just found out they got a shipment at that time. I'm so furious...I really hope another shipment comes in.

Im so screwed because i have to go to school tommrow and i wont be able to go anywhere early. I might try going at like lunch or something.

I did the same thing when trying to get a Wii for a relative today. Looks like most Toys R Us's got a shippment today of about 6 per store.

I called TRU 3 times today, they claim they didn't get any shipments in today, and haven't had any for a "week and a half" which puts them smack dab on Christmas Eve. Sounds too fishy.

It might be just a coincidence, but Philly got theirs last Tuesday and then again this Tuesday. It's the same holiday weekend scenario this week, so it seems logical that the shipments would take the same amount of time as they did last week. I don't pretend to know how Nintendo decides who gets wii's and who doesn't. Philly is a big enough city that we'll probably get shipments every week. But for us, it does seem like we get shipments once a week, on Tuesdays.

And like it has been said above, it seems like TRU is the store of choice this week.

Yeah, the store that got Wii's in today told me on Friday that (and i quote) "We won't be getting anymore until mid January since Nintendo has to assess their sales and figure out how much to send out again."

I hate store clerks.

Well I can hope that tomorrow pulls through for target. Unfortunately my Lunch break doesn't let me out until 10:40 so I hope one sticks around for me until then.

Also i cant drive so i wont have a ride to target anything so i guess i cant go to and store during lunch time.

Why don't you guys just buy them on Ebay? I got mine on Saturday with Zelda for $355 with local pickup. The guy only paid $320 with tax for them. $35 bucks not to have to drive all over the world was well worth it.

I would buy it for 300 since I already have Zelda coming in the mail..but no one is selling it for 300.

Today I got to ebgames around 8 am because the guy said they get a shipment every week and it might be in on tuesday. I waited untill about 3:30 for the ups truck and no wii's. I'm definately going tomorrow to wait for the truck again but not as early. My strategy has boiled down to camping that store and calling other places in the area. I have until Sunday to do this then it is back to college for me. I hope this works.

All I've seen about Wii's at Target on Thursday is that one dude's post on the GameTrailers forum.

its doubtful that all targets will have them in on thursday. Many of them received them today, and Im expecting more tommorrow, so only some of them will have them thursday

I'm not going to tell you what to do, but if your TRU hasn't gotten a shipment in a while, they're probably due. And the delivery trucks came to my TRU today right around 11:00, which is just about exactly when you would get to the store. I would watch Itrackr tonight and see if your Target gets a shipment (or puts out a shipment that they received earlier today). If that's the case and you can't get there at opening tomorrow, there might not be any left at 11:00.

I'm actually excited that I'm taking the train all the way up to NYC just to get a Wii. I can brag about it! And even if I don't wind up with one I'll still be in NYC having a good time .

Ok, just got off the phone with a very nice guy from Best Buy, i asked if they had wii's and he says they arent expecting any for a FEW DAYS, i asked will you have some this week, he said PROBABLY, i said when do they usually come in, he said 10-3. SO m y Best Buy is expecting wii's this week, but as someone posted earlier i think UPS delivers to them tuesday, thursday, saturday.

My guess is that different areas will get shipments on different dates. I don't think UPS holds onto all the game systems and says Ready, set, go ship now!

In other words, even if a Target in NC gets shipments on Tuesdays, it doesn't mean a Target in PA gets them on Tuesdays too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like common sense.

I think that's a pretty smart strategy. Like I said earlier, I watched people walk into TRU this morning, ask for a wii and then leave (probably to go to another store). They missed a wii by minutes and might now have to wait another week until Philly gets another shipment. After waiting at TRU for an hour I was tempted to leave and go check on Target, but I'm sure as heck glad that I didn't! And hey, at least at EBgames you can play with a wii while you're waiting for the trucks to come! So you're pretty much doing what you would be at home anyway.
