Not preordering a console was lunacy on my part.

Just called walmart right now. For all you West Coasters, check your Walmart today, I'm heading there right now to get one, they are receiving them like around 10-11 o'clock. Wish me good luck!

I've been on this Walmart's waiting list for 2 weeks, and they finally called.

There's one with my name on it waiting for me I'll go pick it up after work!! ahhh 5 can't come soon enough!

I was sick of calling BB, GS and Target this morning when I posted and getting the same old "we don't have any and don't know when we'll get more" answer. So I decided to call Walmart just for the heck of it (this was two hours ago). I asked when their next shipment was and the lady told me they had 8 now!! So I jumped up and my dad drove me on an almost-empty gas tank getting all the way out to Laurel, MD. They had 6 left when I got there so I claimed my Wii and hugged the woman who sold me one

If you're near Laurel, MD, call that Walmart NOW (1:20 EST) because they had 3 left when I and two men behind me purchased Wiis.

west coast morning= no wii anywhere.

Confirmed that there's no Wii's in the East Bay Area of SF and the South Bay Area of SJ. Will try again tomorrow.

Success! I had all but given up on the day when I was headed to lunch and saw the UPS truck pull up in front of my local GameStop. Since they only ever get 2-3 at a time I figured it would not be the place to get one but I figured, what the hell, give it a shot. They actually got two in and I got the first one. Another guy who was in line at the time got the other one. Now I have to try to focus the rest of the day at work before I get to go home and set it up .

Edit: I am in Pittsburgh BTW. I have been told that all EB Games/GameSpots in the area get theirs the same day so other area stores will probably get shipments today as well.

my local gamestop got in some wiis today. I called and asked to hold and the fag said he couldnt. I raced there only to find the last wii leaving as i pulled up. (i didnt know it was last one) I went in and asked and he laughed at me. I almost killed him.... nothing at target, walmart, gamecrazy or circuit city on my way home. although i just got a text message alert from iTrackr saying target has some now. I just called target and lady said no, said they only get shipments at night.... hmm..... not sure whether or not to try to make the trip.....

Out of sheere boredom I called a local Gamestop.....

My local Wal-Mart got in a whole shipment of Wii's today (1/3/07). I already have one, but I was able to get two for my buddies. They were selling left and right, after I bought those two, there were only two left!

The PS3's continue to sit there for weeks...

No Wii's in EB or Gamestop in the Quakerbridge Mall in Central Jersey, Lawrence Toys R' Us or in the Princeton / East Windsor Target Stores

UPS got there around 11am. Make sure you ask the employee working in the electronics department. They had them in the back.

Tips:

1. If you call Target, don't talk to the operator. Ask the operator to transfer you to the electronics department. I made the mistake of asking the operator and they always say no.

2. Wait around the electronics department around 10:30am -12pm

haha yeah ive been asking them to transfer, some target operators dont even bother tranfering and declare that they are sold out. its 1130 on the west coast and so far not one place i have called has any wiis to speak of

Hey guys, i just tried to sign up for itrackr notifications for the $1.99 and it doesn't work with credit card or paypal. Is it common for it to not work like that? This is the first time I have tried to pay for it.
