This is because your Targets haven't gotten in any recently. None of the stores update their "Not In Stock" status. The only time you'll see a change is if it turns to "In Stock". It's the transition from "In Stock" to "Not in Stock" that is tricky and often unreliable. But if you sign up for the alerts, you'll have your wii and not have to worry about that.

For those of you looking to sign up, for some reason you can't pay with Safari, but Firefox works (I assume other browsers also have this issue).

And for those of you looking for other remotes or nunchucks, itrackr tracks those as well. Go to "Hot Items" and then to "Game Consoles" and "Console Accessories". I just picked up an extra nunchuk at Target a few minutes ago after seeing that they came into stock. This Target did not have them yesterday when I checked so, yes, itrackr does work.

I am still looking for a Wii. Can't camp though because of school. Itrackr won't work for me because I live in such a small town that it's ... untrackable and my parents won't go anywhere past 10 miles so, I guess I will NEVER have a Wii.

Wish I had a credit card to buy that Wii off Ebay.

I have a question. So right now we're "In stock" for the past week. So obviously that's wrong. Will it update to a new "In stock" when they get them? Or did I just waste 2 bucks?

Also thanks for the tip on the accessories. Sweet! I just wish iTrackr could track BB and TRU as well.

Lol, this wii has demoralized me too....I would almost do just about anything for one now (when i finally get one im just gonna hold it for a little while)

I wish I could answer that for you, but the Targets in my area actually haven't gotten a shipment lately. We also have a Target it our area that is always "in stock" and I'm starting to doubt that they ever update because they've never gotten anything in (PS3's, accessories, etc.). What the story is with your Target, I don't know. I would check the other "hot items" and see if your Target has gotten anything recently. If they have, I think you're set.

first of all, the itrack keeps freezing on me and has been "retrieving stores" for about 20 minutes now. Second of all, it displayed my local Target as having them in stock. I called and spoke to someone in Electronics and they said they sold out the Wiis over five hours ago. Sure, the person could be lying and I guess I could drive over there and check, but then what's the point of the itrackr then?

OK get this:

I called target here in saginaw, michigan today at jan 3. I talked to an employee, I asked any wiis, she said no.

Then I asked when she gets UPS deliveries, she said there getting one thursday night, I asked can I come thursday night to check. Then she said well we get a shipment but we don't know if theres wii's on it so we cant predict. We hadnt had a wii since christmas. Then she told me, we stock overnight and then friday morning you should come, I told her that I have school if she could reserve one for me. She said if theres any wii's we can write down your name if you tell us beforehand and you can pick it up in no more than 24 hours. I said sure after school, and then I asked if she would be there on friday, but she worked night shift, then she said just call and an employee will hold one for you.

Again this is exactly what she said, I am not sure if there may be Wii's on the shipment but my Wii seeker says Jan 3-5 there is shipments in my are for target.

So thats my best bet, anyone think this is a good idea or will work?

So the accessories are listed as not in stock. So I should be tracking them not the wiis. Wonderful it'd be another 2 bucks for that...We'll see if I bother with that.

Itrackr does work. Like I said above, the "In Stock" to "Not In Stock" change can be delayed, but when it goes from "Not In Stock" to "In Stock", your Target has just gotten wiis.

You don't have to pay to see their status be updated, you just have to pay for the alerts (e-mail, text, etc.). I didn't pay for the accessories tracker, I just saw on the main page that they had recently been spotted and when I checked, it was at my Target. Everything on itrackr is free accept for the alerts.
