Hi guys, I just want to point out again that itrackr also tracks (and is accurate) for the controllers. Go to "Hot Items" then "Game Consoles" then "Game Accessories".

These don't move as fast as the wii's so I'm not sure if the alerts are necessary (and you can't transfer from tracking a wii to tracking a controller without spending an extra $2).

Good luck! I have my fingers crossed for you! Make sure to ask these stores when their last shipments were. I can't figure out what the heck is going on with these stores and why New York TRU's wouldn't have gotten shipments and Philly TRU's did. It's almost as if NYC is being punished for all of those wii's that Nintendo World store got.

You should try checking around Phoenix today. Wii's are moving West Coast so today is a good day to get one.

Hey guys. My plan worked yesterday. I just camped an ebgames until their shipment came in and sure enough they had some wiis. Bought a wii with zelda and it is well worth the wait.

If you can try and find a nice employee and things should be easier. An employee at the store kept me posted about when things came in and even offered to take my number to call when they come in. If you have the time camp a store and call others. I brought a book and my girl friend was willing to go. We waited for about 8 hours two days in a row but it paid off.

Keep up the hunt. It will pay off soon and when it does you will be happy you were persistant.

This just doesnt make sense, why would only one of three best buys get them, dont they all get them together, unless one gets theres a day earlier.

(One best buy got them yesterday the other 2 didnt)

I was at Target first thing this morning and there was no Wiis.

For people in Arizona: Tempe/Mesa/Ahwatukee
My usual route is I go to Target on Baseline and McClintock in the morning then Wal-Mart on Elliot and Priest.

None of them had them as of 8:28 AM.

I will go to EB Games around 10:30 AM after I go to Best Buy and Toys'R'Us on Ray and the I-10 at 10:00 AM.

I finally got one. I noticed one location on Itrackr had them. I got there a half hour before the EB Games inside Tysons Corner Center (McLean VA) opened. I got the 3rd of 4 they had. Got the Call of Duty 3 and Zelda games as well. Itrackr does work, just be willing to check it anytime between 1-4 a.m.

Thanks for the update. Keep me posted on your findings. I am in the Northern part of Phoenix around both Arrowhead and Scottsdale. I might stop at a Best Buy during lunch time. I'll keep you posted.

Ive posted this before.... but I got my Wii about 2 weeks ago using Refresh thing. I kept my laptop with me at work so I could keep it open. It took me about 2 weeks... but one morning about 8:30 AM EST Circuit City posted a sweet bundle of Console, 2 controllers and 2 nunchucks, and Zelda. I bought it immediately. It was sold out in about 5 minutes.

I just got my second wii about 20 minutes ago... same bundle but with Madden also. I'm just gonna sell this one... but seriously, refresh thing is great! If you act fast its a great way to get a Wii

I live in Northern VA and call ebgames and target daily and no signs of a Wii, Ebgames (gainesville) told me about a week and half for the next shipment anyone else in the area heard this?

Hi,
I feel somewhat obligated to post a final reply in this thread, as I just bought mah Wii.
First, the hard details:

Store: Gamestop (or EB Games - don't remember)
Where: Livingston, NJ
When: today - 10:00AM (store opening)
Wiis available: 1

Story:
As I got into work at 7AM I checked what itrackr had to say.
Lsted 5 stores with Wiis. 1 was a fluke from a couple of days ago (Target which sold out a long time ago), but 4 were new - Gamestops and EBGames.
All 4 showed listing date/time as 2-3AM. I fugured it was worth a shot.
Since Livingston Mall was the closes to the office, I decided to head that way 1st.
Showed up at the sotre's gate at 9:45AM....no one in sight.
Waited till 10:00AM, still closed, but a girl shows up and parks next to me. We start chatting about Wiis/etc as she was there for the same thing.
About 10 minutes later the store employee shows up - not even acknowleding us (IBspelling), walks in, and shuts the gate behind him.
We camp.......still only 2 of us.
A few minutes later he turns the lights on and proceeds to open the game; he asked what we were both there for. I said "Wii are hiire for the Wiis."
He says then: "Sorry, I only have one."
I proceed to walk in, but at the same time the girl behind me says "Ohh man, I was here at the mall 30 mins. ago, walking around..............."
I replied "Sorry, but I was here first."
She was kind enough to back off, and walk away.

Now, for a split second I staretd to feel guilty, but as she left the clerk said something that stuck my mind. He said "We got 3 Wiis last night, but I really only have 1 to sell."
THis got me thinking...."If he really got them last evening - all 3 would have been gone long time before the store opened today...........If he got shipment after store closed - then all 3 should have been available."
I came to 2 reasonable conclusions: 1. By pure/luck/whatever chance he ended up with 1 Wii to sell for this morning...or 2. He simply lied to the both of us!
No way to tell, and I wasn't about to question his answers.
I paid for the Wii and left.

To the girl behind/next to me:
No hard feelings I hope. I was at the gate before you showed up......and as lame as this may sound - you might have lied as well. I do not feel guilty.

As I walked out I tought to myself - let me check another mall, which is only 5 minutes away. Drove to Short Hill Mall - EBGames (or Gamestop) clerk said "Sorry, we got nothing." I also called another store, 20 miles away where I was told theyalso "had nothing."
I'm back @ the office now.


Final thoughts:
I feel like I completed a game in itself. This is was not easy to find. I searched around for a couple of weeks, like many of you.
itrackr seems to work, but keep in mind that it may not be accurate.
It said that 4-5 stores had stock, but only 1 store seemed to have 1 Wii.
Obviously store employees take care of their friends, families, etc - but it seems they can also be not trustworthy. For all I know that clerk might be holding 2 Wiis for himself, friends, or even to resell on EBay/etc. Truth will never be known.

Best of luck in your quests, because that's what you all need to find a Wii.

Why do Best Buys insist on lying i just called and they sai dthey had some a few days ago, which is impossible because ive been calling every hour and they always say they have had none.

Awesome. I got the same alert and almost joined you out there, but I was up half the night with my 5 year old who has pneumonia... I opted for sleeping in a little instead. They seem to be popping up more often now, though, so I haven't given up hope.
