well i'm still sticking to my story about tomorrow being a really good chance that target will have wii's in stock, at least for the northeast. If they are in stock, then they will be there at openning. So just go there at the beginning of the day and check. No need to keep checking throughout the day. At least thats how it works in central ny. good luck guys.

Let's hope for 11:00 AM instead, that would be so amazing and fall right into my lunch break.

My guess is that he/she doesn't even have a Wii. It's kinda sad, really, that a kid needs to go to such lengths to try and get some sort of reaction from people in a forum... I think Wiimoter deserves our pity.

At the PX (a store on military bases) they did a drawing thing. If your name was drawn, you could buy a Wii. >_> I lost..

Every day I've been calling every Wal-Mart, every store not listed on itrackr, still nothing.. wondering if I'm ever going to actually get lucky and find one. If anyone lives near Huntsville and know when the Wiis are going to be in stock, send me a message please. x_X

I thought the same thing. The Walmarts in my area are all 24 hours. I thought Walmart would be the last place I would get one. If you don't have it on your list, I would add it. They do have a lot of buying power, and it seems like they are finally getting them in. Also, I would definitely try Target tomorrow.

Gar. I have started to call the following stores every day. My mom is helping by calling if she has the day off and if I'm at school.
I have been calling:
Walmart
2 different EB Games
Game Stop
Target
and Best Buy

None of them have it! It's crazy. I'm kinda surprised that my mom is helping me so much. She says she kind of feels bad about not being able to get me it for Christmas, and she seems to be interested in playing it herself, lol.

I'm praying I will be able to get a Wii before my finals start.

Tommorow looks like my last shot before school sets in. What store would be a better bet? Target, or Best Buy? Last week, my target got a coupla Wii's in, but I missed it. Oh, and I live in the Bay Area, if that helps. Kthxbai.

Hi, I'm new to the site but I have been checking this thread for a long while now.
I've gone hunting like everyday since like Dec. 17th and have had NO luck

I'm going to check out target tomorrow, just like chickenguy, (hey I live in the bay too!) and hope I have some luck....

For those of you going to check Target tomorrow, please consider signing up for itrackr (at itrackr.com). It's free to check the status of stores around you and only $2 to get e-mail and text alerts the moment your Target gets some in stock. It has worked for a bunch of people on this thread and it also frees you up to search other stores rather than sitting around Target all day. If you do sign up and you do get an alert, do not leave that Target without a wii. It sometimes takes the electronics employees a while to learn of the shipment, but itrackr is not wrong!

For people who have been on the forum a while...what happened to Sora?? I hope his recent absence means that he got a wii and not that he went off the deep end!

Hey everyone, I too have been watching but not posting. In my search today I made some observations that I wanted your opinion on. In the New England area most people have noted that targets have been "In-Stock" on itrackr for over a week now. Well, the guy at Target keeps telling me "It usually will be in the ad on sunday, so just check that to see if it will be here." That got me to wondering if, in response to people receiving information about shipments, they decided to hoard all of the past week's units until sunday when the ad comes out. That would explain why itrackr has had them in stock for aweek. Also, Best Buy is having a huge sale friday, saturday, and sunday. They were probably stocking up so as to have some in stock at least the first day of the sale (tomorrow). If that is the case, and they already have some possibly, I would recommend checking in the morning sunday for Target, and tomorrow for Best Buy. Let me know if my observations make sense.

Sounds logical for them to save them up for a big shopping day. People get ready to wake up early

Im so happy i already found a wii.... But i guess camping out and finding one was half the fun
