I haven't heard of a store having Wii's in the morning, since Toysrus had them before Christmas. Alll the Wii's are being dropped shipped directly from Nintendo. It allows them to get their products out faster. They don't want stores holding them in their distribution centers. I guess it gives them more control. I used to go every morning, but I have stopped. Now, I only go around noon, and I have been pretty lucky.

Unfortunately, I don't think that there is any way of guaranteeing anyone will have them. How many stores are in your area? Do you have itrackr alerts for all of them?

I'm sorry to say, but right now finding a wii seems to require wasting a lot of time (and gas).

I forgot to mention that Toysrus got 40 DS lites in yesterday in my local. I know a couple people were looking for those. Walmart also had some yesterday.

yeah i have like 10 stores in my area on the tracker. its only been like 3 days though since i signed up i just a lil impatient . i know my gamestop by my house got some on tuesday so i guess i will try there next week. do the shipments to stores usually happen on same day each week or is it pretty random

For the past 2 weeks Philly has gotten shipments on the same day. I'm not sure what's going to happen next week though as it's not a holiday weekend. The shipments may come a day earlier. I've had itrackr for over a week and haven't gotten any alerts (I only have Targets in my alerts), which is accurate considering those Targets really haven't gotten any. For the East Coast, Target was big last week, but not so much this week (which probably means we'll be exploding in alerts next week).

I would like to say thanks to this forum. It has helped me a lot it getting a Wii. I have been looking for a Wii since they were handing out vouchers for them. I met a lot of people standing in line on the 17th of Dec., and we decided to start a local network. We basically would buy extra Wii's if we have the chance to for each other. I still have two left where the people haven't called me back. In the event that they already got one, I can sell them to you for $249 plus tax plus actual shipping (this includes the box). If your generous, you could throw in $5 to help compensate for the gas money I spent. Well, good luck to everybody who is still looking for one.

Hah! That explains it! I kid you not that as I was falling asleep last night I was thinking "how did he manage to spend 2K on Nintendo products and not buy a bunch of wii's? why was he going to so many walmarts? maybe he'll sell one to SoCuteNY and Alex?". Good karma, my man, good karma. I think that you've met some people on this forum that you could be assured would use it and not sell it! Here's what I think of your offer...

Wii's are showing up at EBgames and GameStops in Philly and NJ this morning! I think that these may be real, considering they're updating in the middle of the day and not 4am like they used to.

Wiis are SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE. Almost all electronics store around here have been out of stock since EARLY DECEMBER.
