Some stores are "dead" on itrackr, they don't update for anything. I think it's an issue with the stores themselves, rather than itrackr. But for all stores, what you're looking for is an orange clock with "In Stock" next to it.

The good news is that stores apparently can be resucitated; a Target in my are that hadn't changed it's wii status to "Not In Stock" for over a week finally updated this morning.

Actually, as I understand it, both "In Stock" and "Out of Stock" work the same way. I have several "Out of Stock" stores on my itracker with a yellow clock and in three hours this will turn to blue. What I don't understand is how a yellow "In Stock" can turn to a blue "Out of Stock" without first going through the yellow "Out of Stock" first.

Wait, the clock on itrackr changed to IN STOCK for an EBgames in my area. They aren't open yet. The clock is blue. Is it worth a shot? Its the only clock that says IN STOCK.

Yah when the clock is blue and it says in stock it means that it has been in stock for the last 4+ hrs....then vice versa

I would go. It all depends on how fast your store updates. People were having some success with EBgames and itrackr yesterday. In my area, those stores usually update at 4am with the wii's they had and sold the day before. It's worth a shot if you're able to get yourself there (don't bother calling)

Alrighty, its just that the Best Buys open at the same time, and they aren't on mytrackr, cuz they aren't in my area or something. Odd. And it might also be worh it going to Best Buy.

Hey I am in Long Island, NY, and I got an update that circuit city had in stock went over, talked to one of the electronic guys, and he said they had none and that the inventory thing was wrong (although they did have PS3's) than went to TRU, target, and best buy, all had none. I am wondering the accuracy of any of these sites, plus wiiseeker said walmart would have them in today, called and they got nothing. So do you think everyone is lying and i should just walk around a store for a few hours, or just keep calling? Thanks

iTrackr.com worked for me. I got a notice yesterday that Wii's were in stock at an EB Games in the mall and sure enough I managed to snag the last one.

It also came with a story attached. Apparently a kid was at the store earlier and bought it. A couple hour later he came back with his mom who was IRATE that they sold it to him. She made him return it. I fear to even contemplate the consequences had I dropped $250 on something without their knowledge/permission.

So I got a Wii for $250 + $2 for iTrackr, not too bad.

Keep in mind that CC was JUST added for wiis, so we're not sure how it works for that. But itrackr has been shown to work for Target and, occasionally EBgames/GamesStop. Unfortunately, Target has been quiet this week, for the most part.

Been reading for a few days. Trying to figure a better way to get a Wii. Went by local Target at opening 8am PST today and they had nothing. Had a chat with electronics manager - he said they have not gotten anything from Nintendo in two weeks. He said that all Targets get shipments at night and they stock for the morning. He had a couple of PS3's sitting on the shelf.

Same exact stuff i get.....I'm thinking this weekend will be big for Circuit City and Target

I am almost ready to just dash over to nintendo world, but taking the train by myself at like 5 in the morning...and then the subway is kinda creeping me out. And if i do by some miracle of Jesus do get one....im gonna have to ride the subways with a brand new Wii in my hands.
