This may have already been asked in this thread, but does Target have the same kind of Product Replacement Plan available that Best Buy does? That's really the only reason I've been holding off on buying one other than BB...

I've had more than one system fail miserably on me, and those goddamn Replacement Plans saved my ass.

I don't think you would necessarily need to take the subway. I would take the LIRR to Penn and then cab it to Nintendo World. I don't think the LIRR would be all that sketchy at that time, but I don't think I would *ever* take NYC subways by myself, they always creep me out! (as do the Philly subways, for that matter) If you do go, be sure take a backpack for your wii! Carrying around a giant Nintendo World bag is only asking for trouble!

LMAO! I take the subways, but not by myself....That Penn station thing is a good idea. The only thing that worries me is how those Cab drivers drive *shudders* IDK if I can wait until the MLK day sale though....thats what 2 weeks away!! so ill ask my parents if I can do the World Store thing

im in san antonio, texas but i went to boerne for basketball practice.. he got it at wal-mart, they had 12 of them.. their UPS truck didnt arrive till 3pm

Checked a walmart in Baton rouge, LA none. Had 3 PS3's sitting there. TRU was ravaged dry as usual. If only Sony would let nintendo steal some of their factories to pump out more wii's....

Okay.

I live in Canada, not only that, but I live in a small city in Canada. By small, I mean Wal-Mart is the only Wii carrier in town.

I've been trying to get a hold of the Wii for 3 weeks now, the first week or so I wasn't trying extremely hard to get it(I needed money for christmas presents) but now that it's over and done with, I've been calling in everyday(Around noon, when they get shipments.) to see if they've received shipments. The department manager told me that today, they should be getting a shipment in. But nothing.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Wii's? I'm getting extremely frusterated, there's abundance of PS3 and Xbox-360's at Wal-Mart, they're always restocked before they are completely sold out. So what's up with the Wii?

I have been a lurker for a while but I find that it is difficult sometime to find out what's going on when people just report the stores without the actual city/state. If possible, please update your profile (look on the upper gray bar when logged in), with your city and state.

For me, I am around the Los Angeles area looking for them. I have been doing it rather casually since Dec 30th.

For the iTrackr orange indicator for Circuit City with NO STOCK, it is because of Circuit City being newly added. So it changed it's inventory state from NOTHING to NO STOCK.

Some more info:
Walmart (Industry) didn't have it when I checked this morning and from the person I talked to, they didn't have it since December. Based on ps3/wii seeker, they should get shipment today (couldn't wait to find out).

Don't worry everyone, you will get a Wii soon as EB's preorder is by 1/17 and BestBuy sale is on 1/15. So that means major shipments should be available soon.

Results of my Friday (San Mateo Co., CA) morning Wii search:

TRU, EB Games, & Circuit City don't expect any until next week (Tuesday or later).

Foster City Target had none.

Best Buy didn't get any in today.

Walmart had some yesterday, but not today. I live rather far from a Walmart and didn't consider it. Stupid!

EB Games & Toys R Us, says Wii's will be limited now through either January or February, while Nintendo concentrates on other non-USA markets.

Wish there was a Nintendo World in SF.
