Meh, today I went to EbGames and they had none. Turns out the alert was from yesterday. *sighs*

Oh well.

It was really annoying cuz I saw the display boxes and I'm like "Oh Snap!!!!" And I ran as fast as I could, then grabbed a box of what I thought was a wii. Hmm.... The Wii was really light! I bring it in, and the Manager is all "I'm sorry but thats a DISPLAY case."

But she was actually really nice. She told us she got a shipment yesterday. Oh well. I hope I do get one this weekend.

Norcal - I am in Sunnyvale - which Walmart did you got to that said the had them? I did stop at the Walmart in Mountain View around 11am yesterday and they did not get any in.

Sure, if my boyfriends mom wasn't a department manager and looked into it for me. I didn't talk to the electonics representatives. She works in hardware and would go take a look for me, and go talk to the other manager.

Alas no Wii today. I actually had someone get to Target at opening this morning. They laughed at him. How rude.

I spent my lunch break with a friend who leaves for school tomorrow. There is no point in going crazy anymore. No stores had them I made the rounds and calls later. Seems my area was skipped save for a wal-mart.

But at least your Target is now updating! And they do have nunchuks in stock (it actually wouldn't be a bad idea to pick an extra up as they can be hard to find). Things are looking up...a bit. You should also PM fronty as he *might* have a couple extra wii's to sell (at cost) to deserving wiichat members. I hereby nominate you as a deserving wiichat member. Be sure to let him know how few stores in your area carry wii's. When I looked at your itrackr, I was surprised to only find 3 stores there!

Methinks that I might have another look around Philly this weekend to see if I can find an extra wii to sell to one of you guys.

One thing I have learned is thank GOD I camped that TRU, because Philly has gotten nada besides that (our WalMart is so Ghetto I doubt they even have a gaming section).

Yes, it was the Walmart in Mountain View that said they got some in yesterday. I haven't bothered calling the East Bay stores, since I don't have the time to run over there right now.

well I went to three different best buys here today in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and yet again I come up empty handed. The 1/15 sale at Best Buy is intriguing, but that's two days before I start school and I wont get too much playing time in. Also if fonty still has wii's I'll gladly give up my $270 best buy gift card for one of them.

The area around us (Delaware Valley) seems to be "Wii Wasteland". I have been every day at the local Target, WalMart and EBGames (PA/DE border and southern Philly suburbs). Nothing. The last shipment that I have noticed was before Christmas and there were around 150 people in line for 15 Wii's at that Target and 8 at the Best Buy. Target, EBGames and Best Buy have not gotten any shipments in 2 weeks - Confirmed from various sources.

I just got back from the local WalMart as Wii-Seeker has updated the WalMart estimated shipment to today (Jan 5th): Not a single Wii in sight. But I have seen everywhere a pile of PS3s (both versions).

I have been looking for 6 weeks now, stood in line for a total of 18 hours on 3 occasions without getting one. I scout the area daily before work, have 3 trackers running = Nothing. I am tired, exhausted and frustrated at best.

I don't even blame Nintendo for the shortage. Not ONE retailer has a website to pre-order, unless it's a $700 pack, thus creating an even more artificial shortage. Just put me on a waiting list and ship it to me when it gets in. The craziness cannot be topped anymore. At least here.

Philly and the surrounding suburbs got some wii's last week (Target and BB, to be exact). This week was only TRU. I was lucky enough to have parked my ass at the South Philly TRU an hour before they arrived. Other than the TRU shipment, I haven't heard of ANYTHING for the Philly area.

NINTENDO, WHY DO YOU HATE THE NORTHEAST???

Not here. I am now best buddy with the local manager of the electronics dept at Target. They haven't gotten any since Sunday two weeks ago. I don't even bother with BB anymore, because everytime I get there there are swarms of people waiting. EBGames gets in 1-3 per average. Target is still bearable. It'll get better now the kids are back in school and cannot camp out at the stores anymore.

Wii Seeker is showing Walmart is suppossed to get shipments today (at least around the Arizona area). Can anybody verify? Sucks to be at work.

Raleigh Durham, N.C. - No units at Target BB TRU or CC for the last week+

Walmart said they had a few two days ago.

Itracker for me shows Targets and EB games. Target has not gotten any and EB updates about 9 to 12 hours late, so it totally useless.

Wiiseeker predictions seem to be way off now, so I do not hold much hope for the 15th. Wii will have to sii.

Anyone have any ideas where Nintendo's production is going? Europe? Asia?


Here's hoping for the weekend.
