thank you for the info, but how do you know target is getting them sunday? and also I think it's a store to store thing, esp. for target. at least that's what I will believe until ive experienced it otherwise...

Just picked up the last one at a Rochester Gamestop. Apparently it didn't come in on their normal truck, i think it came via Fedex or UPS... I had just happened to walk in at the right time. Best of luck to everyone!

just wanted to let everyone know i called a manager at best buy and they said as soon as they get them that they will put them out on the floor. they are not in this sunday's ad so they have no reason to keep any on hand. when the ad does come out however, they are obligated to hold the minimum at that date.

No go for me in So Cal. No shipments arrived for gamestop, gamecrazy, toys r us, and target. Gonna call them again when I get off work as thats when most of the trucks make their rounds.

Apparently, for Target, they get the shipments of electronic stuff in the morning. So no dice today. Tomorrow or Sunday, since there's an ad for Sunday for Target. But Target puts the stuff out when they get it. So I'm lining up tomorrow and the next day. Woo hoo!

I went to my local gamestop when they opened this morning and they had none, said it might come on the truck that might come at 2-3 oclock. I called at 2 and they said they had already sold all the ones that came, and that there was indeed a shipment of Wiis today. Oh why didn't I stay and wait this morning! Scheduled committments really suck.

I went by my local ebgames in Northern NJ. An employee there said that Nintendo WORLD at Rockefeller Plaza in NY should always have Wiis in stock.
Also, he said they have to keep up with the demand because they are NINTENDO WORLD. Not sure if I buy that, but I tried calling the number and I get a answering machine.

I've been to the store before. It is a two floor NINTENDO museum and I know they also sell Nintendo products.


I am thinking about it..or maybe I should go smoke me some Wiid while waiting in line on Sunday morning.

The shipment for EB where I live is "in transit" still sais the UPS friend, so i have to wait till monday....DAMNIT! The rest of the EB's I called said they only got about 3 systems per store, and they sell out anywhere from 5-10 minutes after the UPS guy walks in the door.

I'd go to target on sunday, but I have too much EB store credit to do that. I'll have to take my break at work when the shipment arrives at EB...and inevitably not eat. This is the first and last time I try getting a system at launch. When the hell will one of these game companies be able to keep up with supply and demand.

Good luck with EB. I got a similar thing with Target, so I'm all up on that. Saturday or Sunday. Morning. I'm excited.

I finally got thru to a NintendoWORLD Rep(646 459 0800) and basically she said that they replenish their inventory daily but obviously you have to wait on a long line.
She said people wait from 1am until opening(9am). I figure that this place sells several hundred a day.

I used option 2 to get to the lady.

Just got back from my local Target (Florida). I asked the lady whom was unloading some boxes that they had just gotten in from UPS if there were any Wii's in todays shipment, she then replied with a "no". I asked the obvious question: "You know when you will be getting any". And she pulled me over to the side and told me that they told her in the back that they were going to go on sale Sunday morning so get here early. I really hope i can trust her on this one. But all i know is, i know where im gonna be bright and early Sunday morning, hopin to get a Wii. Just passin along the information i was given.

I just called Walmart, and 3 of them said "i don't know" when the next shipment will be in, But one said that nintendo was sending delvery trucks on Wendsday, to arrive at 8AM.

im sorry to say, but that is bs. they are getting them at random hours and days, they might even have some right now. they will start selling them wed morning at 8, cause of the ad for that day saying that theyll have some (3 at least) in stock.
obviously they are not hoping on the trucks to arrive at exactly 8 on dec 6th...fukcing wal mart =)

On a side note, seems PS3 was the console of choice for EB shipments today. They got in 4 where I am, and apparently sony store got them aswell.

I walked in to see a really giddy guy at the register getting his ps3 boxed up......to find out his debit got denied. He got completely f'kin owned. Some caked up slutty soccer mom bought it when he left....really annoying Rhode Island accent too. Thats just depressing. I would have hate to see that, good thing he left first.

target or best buy...which should i go to sunday morning. No matter which one im getting there at 6A.M, camping out with my mcgridles!

id say roll with Target first, lay out early there, then because they open earlier, you can see quickly if they have you one, if not then roll over to BB, thats my plans. But either way our walmarts here said all the ones they have in the back are going to be put out at 8am WEd morning no questions.

cause i have never played wii nor ps2 sooo im asking people that have
