I've got a better idea:

All of us Wii-less East Coasters road trip up to NY. We all camp out in SoCute's grandma's backyard until we catch the 5:15 train to NYC. After we procure our much anticipated Wiis, we hop the train back to grandma's and have a party. Maybe have a couple of bands come play.

We'll call it "Wii-stock"...

So that is where they are all going! No wonder us yokels in the provinces can not get one!

As for the Best Buy rumor, if they are doing a big number then I would guess that it will be in the weekly or weekend flyer. You can look it up on their website so we should have a good idea before thew 15th rolls around.

In a way I hope it is true, A chance to camp out if I don't have one by then

But I can cross them of my lunchtime tour.

I picked one up in Southern California today. All the Walmarts got 15 each today but they are all sold out now.

Do you know if they got them in during the day, or do they come in overnight? I hit a few Walmarts today with no luck...

Hmmm I think the saturdays are going to be rough socute. You're best to get there earlier than later. You have to remember now you have kids and teens who are not in class anymore.

Nintendo said they aren't going to launch any more colors of wiis. That being said, if there is enough of a demand for it, nintendo might release different colors. And, I think this is the wrong board.

Fortunately it looks like it will be raining tomorrow morning. Should help cut down the numbers to only the die-hards. I'm guessing a lot of locals will choose to camp Saturday night instead. Let's hope for SoCute's sake.

I've looked all over the place, they're just all sold out.

Is there ANY place besides some online auction I can get one? I'm starting to really lose hope, if they're just all sold out as soon as they get in the stores, and if the dates are random, and the only store near me that carries them is Wal-Mart and the only other ones are 40+ miles away, how the heck am I supposed to get one?
