I call these stores on a daily basis to see if they know anything:
-Target
-Walmart
-3 Different Gamestops
-Sears
-Kmart
-Best Buy

I feel sorry for the people working in electronics.

Thanks for that info, I figured that Gamestop had them but for some reason changed the release date. I just called my local one, and he said "it would be in your best interest to be in line Friday morning/Thursday night" he he. Well it looks like I'll be camping out right after Thanksgiving dinner, lol.

I've been contacting stores in the area of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Southwest Michigan). These are the results I have come up with as far as second wave of systems.

Out of 4 Meijers stores they have told me 2 weeks to a month or that they do not know.

Out of 4 Walmarts I have been told for the most part next week or that they do not know.

Out of 5 EBGames/Gamestops I have been told by the majority of them "we should have them by this friday" or that they do not know.

Out of 2 Kmarts they also just don't know

Out of 2 Targets they have said that they expect weekly shipments and should have some by friday.

Finally 1 Best Buy has told me that they will have them no earlier than next week.

As of 3 p.m. EST on Tuesday Nov. 21 none of these stores currently have any in stock.

It would be great if people would update this thread with the date, time, and location they were able to pick up there "second shipment" Wii. I plan to do this and will update as soon as i manage to call a place that actually had gotten a second shipment. Lets keep this thread updated hopefully everyone can help eachother out with information so that Wii can all get a Wii.

Picked up Wii at EB Games, 11/21/06 1:30 pm on a shipment that arrived today. Don't believe the EB / Gamestop stores. They have them but have been told to keep all units received for friday. For some reason the EB Games stores in our area are ignoring this memo

Just called two gamestops in my area, one said that they will have some on Friday (seems to be correct by what bakantor said) and the other said that they don't know. The store on Friday that has them will be open at 7:00 am. So your BEST chance to get one would probably be Friday seeing that they are reserving for them for that day. Good luck ya'll!

I'm hearing Friday from GameStop as well, some are even saying they already have them in stock but are holding them until Friday.

After reading this again, I went to check my Gamestop but they gave me the "we have no clue when the next shipment is" line. Then I specifically asked about availability on friday and they said hopefully. I think that means yes....

Also, I did manage to get a remote controller from them.

By the way, if anyone is looking for nunchuks, try the nintendo online store. I was there looking for component cable and found nunchuks in stock instead.

All 3 Gamestop stores confirmed it for me today. They are holding all units until Black Friday. Looks like I get a second chance to camp out and wait for my Wii. My brother will be 500 feet away waiting in line for Best Buy. By the way, most Black Friday ads are online now at each stores websites...

Boy, I have been calling stores every day since the Wii came out. The people who work in the electronics dept sound like they are getting more irritated by the day. Some have even been on the verge of rude. I feel like an ass calling these stores so much but if they don't tell me when their shipments are coming in, what am I supposed to do? None of the stores around here have gotten their second shipments in yet except for EB games. They got something like 2 in and said they sold immidiately.

I think I will line up at EB Games early in the morning on Friday and see whats up. The bad part is, they don't get their UPS shipments in until 1 or 2 PM.

I really hope I come up with one... It is driving me crazy not having one. I got to play my friends on launch day so I know how good it really is... it makes the wait a lot worse.

seeing as how the general consensus is that places are withholding wiis for black friday, do you think enough people know about this to warrant going to wait hours before a store (GameStop, in this case) opens?

also, with a wii shipment, do they restock on wiimotes and nunchuks?

one last question, about how many wiis would you guess the average GameStop will have in stock if theyve been holding on to all shipments since launch?

Called Gamestop again, he said that they might be getting around 6-7 Wii units. He also said that he shared this knowledge with many people so I guess I might need to camp outside. Who knows.

i just stopped by gamestop to pick up twilight princess (just in case they ran out on black friday) and they said that they had received a shipment this morning and had sold out in 15 minutes.
