i wish we could. you can't preorder them in the US, or else most of us would've in a heartbeat. sounds like a couple people on here were lucky enough to find a place that preordered them, though. but for the most part, you can not preorder.

It means that this store is not very good in updating their stock, and you can't really trust that listing. Just about every Target in my area has the same thing. iTrackr works for some areas, but for yours and mine, it seems to, unfortunately, work a bit differently.

well i finally signed up for itrackr about last wednesday. i also have a friend who works at a starbucks in a target store who said he'd keep an eye out for me. i asked if he'd be able to hold one for me if they came in as i can't always get away from work, so i hope he can.
i did notice that one of my local target stores showed a stock change happen just after i started using itrackr, so i called that store up and asked if they could verify that they'd had some in, but the operator woman said she didn't know. so i asked if i could speak to someone in electronics to verify if the info was correct and she said they wouldn't be able to give me that information. i'm starting to hate the operator at that store. half the time when i ask for electronics they just ask in a snotty voice "are you looking for something specific?" i've even told them a couple times that i have a question about a digital camera just so they'll transfer me.
overall this search has become pretty frustrating, but i'm hoping it'll be over soon.

this is not good. i thought it would be easier to get a wii after xmas and a lot easier after new years but it appears to be getting harder . a week ago the itrakr showed that the wii had a national availability of 7% now its at 2% . i cant believe how many people want a wii. the good news is that nintendo is kicking playstation's ass

I'm getting pretty tired of Wii hunting. Even though it really doesn't take up that much time, I'm tired of being discouraged day after day.

I call atleast 15 places 4-5 times a day. CompUSA now says they won't be in stock until Feb., even though the lady yesterday said they'd be in Monday. And Gamestop told me to check back at the end of the week. eBay just costs too damn much. :\ If I buy off eBay, I won't be getting an extra Wiimote or a game any time soon.

I have been lurking around this thread too shy to post anything until now.
I finally scored a Wii at a target in SoCal at opening thanks to iTrackr.
If it wasnt for u guys who convinced me to get iTrackr i wouldnt have got mine today. The only way i can think to thank you guys is to help others still searching for a Wii by giving my iTrackr acc. So....1st one to email me at comradekazuki@gmail.com i'll let them use it. ^_^
Again thank you guys for your helpful tips and tricks on finding a wii and others still searching there is still hope!

but the only thing that itrckr alarm does for you is sent u a text / mail when a store gets some wiis in, right? its not like u can track more stores if u pay, right?

I got so fed up with searching that I just ordered one on ebay. My girlfriend gave me $200 to get one, and the total came out to $350. I feel bad for paying over retail, but it was worth it considering how much time i was spending trying to find one.

u can only track 10 stores of your choice in your zip code. but its really good for me because i dont really keep track of iTrackr on the net and im not really home all the time to check it. so those text alerts are really helpful for me

yea for me too. I just set it up thanks again. As soon as i get one i'll be passing this account on to another wii-less person. In a way you've just started a small charity foundation lol.
