just thinkin...as i have a wii now..the dude at eb games wanted to sell me a 1 year warranty for 40bucks(!)..doesnt nintendo have to have a warranty? back home (germany) it is 2 years, without payin for it..ts...

No luck today; Walmart didn't get any, but either tomorrow/wednesday/thursday. Maybe this week I will get lucky and Walmart will get some wii's in. Walmarts my real only chance because of school.

I got my wii!!!!!!!

My little brother and I got up at 9:30 and started calling everywhere and no one had anything. So we started driving and we went to circuit city. turns out there was a UPS truck up front so i went up to the guy and asked if he had any boxes from nintendo and he said he didnt know. so i went inside and they said it would take about an hour or 2 to unload the things in the truck and bring them upfront. so i drove to the back of circuit city as the guy was unloading and i asked if he had delivered anything to the walmart or target across the street. he said he delivered to walmart already but he didnt have anything for target.

so i went to walmart and they said they didnt have anything and that it would take about an hour for them to bring the things from the back to the front and to try calling them later. So the i drove to target and they said they didnt have anything. So i decided to go back home (along the way we called every gamestop around the area...about 8...and they all said to try at noon.)

So i went to the bank to deposit some money...and the bank is right next to the mall so i told my brother do go in and ask..then he comes out running with his hands in the air jumping like crazy and screaming "they have it!!!!!!!" lol so i parked and ran inside. Turns out the lady was opening the box as my brother asked her and there were 2 inside. I needed 2 (one for me and one for my little cousin) but she wouldnt let me buy both. So I was about to call my dad to come buy the other one but some guy showed up and bought it first. SO then i drove to another gamestop nearby and dropped off my brother to wait for the truck cuz i had to go to work. He then called me around 2 and said the truck showed up but they didnt have any wii's. SO anyways i got my wii!!! now i just have to keep looking for aother one for my little cousin,

Actually, you are trying to make a profit. If you're so willing to sell them at the price you got them for, you'd decline the higher offers to give them to people that honestly want one.

Don't act like what you're doing is nice. You didn't NEED to buy those extra Wiis if you weren't looking to make a profit.

Do you know how long I've been looking for a Wii? Over a month. I live 45 minutes away from all of the stores (and that is considered close to me), so I'm pretty much screwed unless I get somewhere early and wait around.
It's frustrating because I live in such a small area. Southern New Hampshire got the crap end of the stick. Most of the stores around here haven't gotten Wiis in since Christmas.

Anyways, the Target on Story Road in San Jose just received a shipment of Wii's this morning, however the remaining Targets in the area did not get shipments, could possibly be shipments in the coming days.

On Thursday my Wal Mart had 9 Wii's but people baught 3 at a time and 8 of em went up on Ebay. I am mad I STILL Don't have one. I'm posting at my school lol. We have 19 PS3's of course though... -.-

Valley Fair also recieved another shipment of Wii's today but they sold out in the mid-afternoon, I'm going to try them in the following days.

Hmmm, I really hope at least 95% of the Wii's that have recently been sold are going to people who actually want to play them and not to those who just want to sell it for twice the retail price on Ebay.

Well what's worse is that people actually buy them off ebay. If everyone just stopped, and didn't spend that extra cash, the people that bought them for that reason would either be stuck with a Wii or would have to return it for their money back!

Too bad there's no way to stop people from being idiots.

Maybe stores should have a no-returns-six-months or something, except in the case of product defect or malfunction.

One-per-customer should be more widespread.

Ah well, that's a free-market system for you...not perfect, but it beats the alternatives.

Just have patience, we'll all get our Wiis at MSRP eventually...shouldn't be long now.

Ebay sucks. My friend bought a wii off of ebay and it was damaged so bad. The buttons didn't even work

I think the limit should be 2. Well, depending on how many Wiis are in stock. I know I'm looking for both myself and a sibling, who can't drive, so I'd like to get 2. But I guarentee I'm not looking for one to sell on ebay. I think that's low. People think it's so awesome to sell something that people really REALLY want, but they don't understand the frustration of wanting something and not being able to freely obtain it.

I don't know how many times my eyes lit up when I thought an employee was going to tell me they had some Wiis in the shipment, only to break my heart by telling me there are none.

I know that sounds dumb, but I really do hope for the best everytime an employee goes out back for me.

Hey guys, just wanted to check in quickly to let you all know I'm still around. I took so much time off from work to find my wii, that now I barely have time to play it!

I'm sorry to hear that the Northeast is still a wii wasteland, but I was encouraged to see that TRU had some on-line sales today. The South Philly TRU (where I got my wii) often got their wii's in soon after an on-line sale. But, then again, things are so different this week, who knows?

Leave it to Nintendo to keep us in the dark. Just when we kinda figured out their shipping system and had an *idea* of where they might be and when, they have to go and change everything....UGH!

No new developments in Philly. I swear that I can hear the faint sound of crickets every time I log onto itrackr!
