It's funny how the wii gods work isn't it? I got my wii from the same TRU that I got into a fight with the clerks about the empty display boxes and hid all of them! Thank god they didn't remember me!

Does your grans still have that hook-up with the electronics guy from 'name of store we do not remember'?? If so, PM me about possibly spreading the wii love. (I think giving back makes the wii gods happy. I've been very lucky about finding remotes and nunchuks and games at Blockbuster.)

I am still on the look out. I try and check everyday... I am sure the best buy and target by my house laugh every time they see me walk through electronics and just walk back out.

I finally purchased my Wii just yesterday at the local Target in Springfield, OR. When I showed up at 8:30 am, they had roughly 12 systems behind glass just waiting to be had. Thanks alot everyone for your information in locating a Wii!! Good luck to all the rest of you still on the hunt

I would think (but haven't had reason to confirm, unfortunately) that there's a walkthrough up on gamefaqs.com by now - have you checked there? A thread for people still hunting for Wiis isn't necessarily the best place to seek advice on specific portions of gameplay for a Wii title

I'm from MN and need a Wii, but I'm not about to apologize for Jesse Ventura. I didn't vote for him, but he actually wasn't all that bad as a governor (aside from being a bit embarassing - at least he was interesting).

I'd definitely apologize if I was from Bush's neck of the woods though - that's guy's just been a disaster. Can't wait until tomorrow's speech where he'll announce his plans to (against the will of the majority of americans and the advice of most in the military) escalate the military action in Iraq. Hopefully I'll have a Wii by then so I can avoid it.

I officially give up trying. I'm frustrated and irritated every time I'm told "no" and when I just miss it. I was told there were going to be Wiis today at EB. I called EVERY HOUR since this morning and was told none were in. So I went in and asked and the guy tells me they had some but sold out. I told HIM I'd been calling all day so I would've like to have known when these Wiis were in.

It's just bullshit. I'm sick of trying. I've been trying for over a month with no luck and it's costing me a lot of energy, time, and gas.

**** Nintendo. I'll get a PS3 instead. Sony has never let me down.

I saw a wii in target on www.itrackr.com in Austin yesterday. None in Dallas for the last week.

And I feel your pain. Sooner or later if Nintendo can't pump out more of these to meet the demand some may go over the fence and just get a PS3. I'm STILL looking for a Wii. I might just buy a PS3 until I can find a wii and then dump the PS3 at a loss (or just use it as a high def player)

i want a wii ALOT like most of you that havent found one yet.. but if anyone can help me find one in the houston, TX area it would be greatly aappreciated. this messageboard has given me many clues on how to find one, but ive still had no luck. i have called target, wal-mart, EB games, and gamestop everyday but they all said they didnt get any, except wal-mart had like 8 ps3's for about 3 days.. but they sold out on all the wiis. i was bummed. please help if you feel like it.

Well, 3 EB Games and 3 Gamestops got theirs today near me... and they all sold by 10 am. Weak. But Best Buy told me they're getting 45 Wiis sometime by the end of the week, I dunno if that's the same everywhere, but everybody might want to keep their eyes peeled.

Best way to get yourself a Wii is to befriend a Videogame store clerk. Example:
This girl I used to umm... Fool around with. Worked at Gamerz. Because of that, she had pretty much first dibs on the reserve list. All the employees were at the top of the list. She was number four. Well, she got fired from gamerz, but her name was still on the list. When her number was up, she didn't have any money due to no job, so she called me and asked me if I still wanted it. I said, "Hells yeah!!!" and kinda just left work to go get it. Now that's a gift from the Wii gods. Went from just having to wait till a Wii was left on the shelf to being number 4 on a list. Awsome. Thnx Wii gods.
