The Gamestop I called this afternoon is still lit up (they said they just sold their last one). If it's still lit up tomorrow morning, I'm gonna call them.

For anyone who bought their Wii at Best Buy:

did they have the Wiis on the shelf with all the games, did you have to ask for it from someone, or was it in the entrance of the building?

It's over. I got an itrackr notice at 8:52 that circuit city had stock. Sounded odd I know, but I decided what the hell. Called on my way over. Got there 20 minutes before close, they hadn't even opened the boxes and it was DEAD there. I was 2 of 6 wiis.

So I've been at the search since Christmas, and I have to say I'm always glad to hear when people find their Wiis, but more and more I keep thinking to myself "damn it...that guy has only been posting on the board for a few days....how come he found one and not me?". Call me jealous I guess. I keep missing the Wii by minutes. I think the lousy machine is actually taunting me.

Trying to keep my patience, but barely holding the line...when will the Wiis hit New England???

the wii seeker is where i saw that rumor about 100 or 150 at best buys on mon for a huge sale. and nintendo has upped there production to meet demand i heard unless that rumor is mularkey you guys let me know what you think

OH THANK GOD!!! I was so sad that when I read that you were giving up! I was actually just about to check your zip on itrackr (I check it everyday). I was thinking, "No Barieuph, you're the last one now" (at least the last of the ones I was searching with...although on second thought, I guess Merc is).

I'm almost as happy that you got your wii as I was when I got my own. Weird, I know, but I really felt for you and all of your near misses. Definitely add me to one of your wii friends!!

Merc, we're getting you a wii this weekend. End of story. If I have to go buy one myself, so be it. The boyfriend might not like the idea of driving my ass around on the wii hunt again, but he'll get over it. I can't go tomorrow morning, but if you don't get one tomorrow and I get an alert tomorrow night, it's on for Friday. The fact that you still don't have one is madness.
