You only need to pay for the alerts. You are welcome to visit the site and check availability as often as you like. The alerts work best for people with restricted computer access, however now that most Targets are getting them overnight for sale at opening, this is less of an issue. As long as you can check itrackr for your zipcode around 6-7 in the morning and get to Target around opening, you're set.

Wii hunting in general is good for people who don't have school or work. Even worse, I think, would be to get a text message when you have no chance of going to get a wii. That would be torture, knowing your wii was being sold while you were held captive.

I actually took a week off of work to find a wii. It was time well spent, but boy am I tired trying to catch up at work and wii!!

yeah thats a good point. id go crazy if i got a text message while im in school saying that they have wiis. i dont bring my money with me anyway though...

but kristi, i actually think im gonna be able to get a wii on monday at best buy. im gonna get there at like 9ish (it opens at 10). do you think people are still gonna be camping out or getting there early?

New Jersey people, it's wii time again. Deptford, Cherry Hill and Vorhees Targets have wiis. Just got three itrackr alerts. Also, Bridesford Target in North Philly.

It's funny, I've had itrackr for two weeks and hadn't gotten a single alert until yesterday and now Targets around here are getting them everyday!

Although with my luck my Target will be holding Wiis for the sale on the 21st.

lol my mom's gonna kill me if i make her go that early.... well.. she gets home from work at like 630 in the morning. so i guess she wouldnt mind takin me early, but she wouldnt wanna wait for that long lol..

imagine if i waited there that early and they ended up not having any. id cry

It's unfortunate, but getting a wii right now calls (usually, at least) for desperate measures. It looks like there are a fair number of people in your area tracking the wii (and even more who haven't paid for tracking). I would suggest sweetening up your mom this weekend, especially if more verification comes in that this BB rumor is true.

wait how do you know that there are alot of people in my area tracking wiis?

and

my friend's friend works at that best buy, and he said theyre gettin 8 wiis sunday night after closing, and selling them on monday. so i mean i just hope that it really happens

Go to itrackr and sign up. It's free and you only need an e-mail address. That will allow you to go to the "Hot Items" section where you can see how many people are tracking that item and which stores have it in stock.

that's b/c it probably won't show up til the ad that comes out this sunday...it's not in this weeks ad b/c it only applies to what they have the 7th through the 13th...you have to wait til sunday to see next weeks...or monday
