I am hoping that wont be the case...leaving at 7am, Hope there isnt going to be a long line. If thats the case Toy R Us is right next door and also best buy, can take my chances there too.

People, in the NJ area, i live in clementon/berlin and at walmart turnersville (24hrs) will have the wii in dec 6th at 8am and they will sell by raffle. but in walmart west berlin (route 73) they said theyll sell it... first come first serve..
(My wife works there and she said she ask the electronic guy and her store manager and they said no raffle on that walmart.
dont know if its true though... but good luck to everyone that need it.

went out and scoped a few circuit city's, no lines. dropped by one target and had one guy in line. this is in so cal. gonna catch a few z's and get back out there around 4.

There are PS3's everywhere where I live and not a wii to be found. I still need to save up for the wii but after my birthday I will have enough. I found 1 classic controller and bought it.

went to target at 6am, was 3rd in line. they had 30 of them. yay for me, i got mine

went to Target at 630 and was 5th in line, they only had 6 wii's. So i got mine

Circuit city at 7:45, was 16th in line out of 20 wiis. Its nice when its 5 degrees out and not a single parent is willing to go out when its snowing.

Got mine at Target this morning. They had 18 of them, I was 12 in line. So happy I finally got one!!!!

I keep getting shafted. Does anyone know how to get the wiis from nintendo world? I know they give out tickets but do you just go up there and ask them for one or what?

I went to Target at 6:30 AM, I was first in line and obviously, I got mine. There were fourteen there.

Wow why is my area so hungry for Wii's. I went 2 Toys R Us and there was over 200 people there camping out, and I got there at 530. Then I went to Target and therew as over 150 there for 30 Wii's. This lady in front of us said her friend got there at 5 and was prob # 50 something.

You can read my previous post, but call Nintendoworld in NYC night before to confirm, but they have had 150 Wiis per day. Get there by 5:00 (4:00 to be safe) and you should be good. They give out tickets at 7:45, and you should know by then. People are selling tickets for $50 per spot, so if you can't get one that's an option. Then you get one Wii & one extra controller/nunchuk if you want one.

tried to get mine this morning, got to circuit city at 8 waited in line until a store employee informed the 50 or so people waiting that the vouchers were given out. waited on line for half an hour and no wii. then went straight to toys r us and was told the people camped out and they were all gone. going to try another circuit city tonight at 5 because some were closed because of blue laws. hopefully ill have better luck

I got in line at 5:30am and was 7th. The 34th person showed up at about 8:00am. The store opened at 9:00am. Walmart has been stocking wii's to be sold on 12/6/06. Good luck!

I feel your pain, it all depends on your area. Here in Florida it's the hottest thing. I had to wait 6 hours on Friday inside GameStop for thier shipment of ONLY 2. So you have to be willing to wait a looong time in line.... earlier the better!

Thanks to everybody's advice.... I finally got my Wii

I arrived at target at 1am , left at 3am to get breakfast because no one was there. I came back at 4am and was third in line. I got my Wii, 1 of 18 sold at Target today. No luck on an extra nunchuck, they only had three and the people ahead got them - maybe i shouldn't have left but NO ONE was there so I felt safe. I hope no one on this forum, like some I saw today, showed up 1 hour or less before opening ad xpectd to get a Wii. If you really want one suck it up and wait or he long haul. I assure you it is worth it, and it will make you appreciate your Wii more. It made me appeciate it, 28 degrees is cold for a Florida boy in Maryland!

Finally got mine! Arrived at Target today at about 6:15, was 16 in line. They had 42 of them, so some people were arriving about 7:30 and still managed to get one. (Didn't want to take a chance like that though ) Got console and Zelda, good times
