Yeah, so i came to the forum today, and saw all the people who got Wiis from TRU today, so I bolted down there.

The lady at the desk said "Yeah, we had them... about 6 hours ago". I was really mad. I wish I could camp in front of stores waiting for them to open, but I don't have that luxury, except on weekends.

I'm trying CC because they told me they'd have Wiis on Sunday, and I'll try try Best Buy on Monday. Any people out there in the Central Mass, Worcester-ish area? The pursuit of a Wii has become both the pleasure and bane of my existence.

Hello, im curious, has anyone ever had any luck finding one on a Saturday? Is it even worth it to try tomorrow? I know for a fact Target is holding them until the 21st because I was just there and thats what they told me. But if it is indeed worth a try, which stores would be my best bets? Toys R Us maybe? The thing is all my stores are over 15 miles away so Im contemplating if it is even worth my effort on a Saturday. Any info would be appreciated.

I heard that BestBuy is pushing their 'big wii sale' til the 21st as well with Target. Confirmation anyone?

I'm not from Mass, but I'm a state up (NH).

The stores that tend to be getting shipments in the most (atleast in my area) are EB and Gamestop. I tried sticking around Target for a week and they've had nothing for almost two (probably on account of the Wii sale?).

Shipments at EB and Gamestop tend to come in between 11-1.
I'd shoot more toward 11. They don't get shipments on weekends.

anything about a shipment for January 15th. There has been no communication whatsoever in Austin, TX regarding a January 15th shipment.

It has been confirmed that stores in Austin, TX will have Wiis available for sale on January 21st. The January 21st Sunday ad will feature the Wii so therefore we must have it available in the store. My store is a smaller one and we show at least 20 Wiis coming in so the bigger stores will have twice that. This is concrete information and generally these types of ads are national. We could still receive random shipments between now and then but they will be small and few.

Best Buy is completely focused on pleasing you the customer. I am still not even allowed to purchase a Wii! I have not been allowed to since the launch in November! It's Wiidiculous! Since the first launch, only one Wii per customer has been allowed AND that will continue.

So there you have it. Be prepared to sit on the sidewalk for a night but at least you'll know you've got one if you're one of the first 15 in line. Choose your store of choice wisely.

I got mine on launch, but for weeks now we've been trying to find one for my friend. About a month ago he purchased Excite Truck to play on my Wii until he got his own, and still he has that copy waiting to be played since I haven't gone over in awhile. Its insane.

Does the Circuit City avail thing works? It says they have Wii's at Valley Stream, NY in stock but when I call the store the girl just said they don't have it.. should I got to the store in person or just take what they say over the phone?

If your looking for the Wiimote, the TRU in Arrowhead has about 5 or 6 left. No Wii console unfortunately.

Has there been any update from Nintendo why they are not producing these consoles faster? This is getting ridiculous. It is just bone dry here in Arizona and I'm not just talking about the environment.

well, my mom called this morning. they said they didn't get any and won't be getting any untill the 21st- which means they DID get some and are holding them until the 21st. I wonder if i could go and persuade an employee to give me one. what's the point of holding them? either way they're going to sell

It may be weird to hear this, but if the Wii wasn't so damn fun, I would actually enjoy the hunt for the Wii. Relish it you guys, once you find your Wii, you'll nvr feel this feeling again (well you know, until Nintendo's next greatest idea ).

Yes, The Circuit city avail worked for me, It's the reason I got my wii Thursday. But It probably is sold out now, But The Avail works, just to let you know.
