oh btw Kristi, i did try Toys R Us on tuesday (i finally got a nice salesperson).. and she has no idea either. but i guess they have gotten shipments

Aha! He was lying. Both Targets had them about 2 weeks ago. The last time he saw them may have been November, but that's not the last time they were there. 2 weeks is still pretty weak though. I'm surprised they haven't gotten them since then. Are there any other Targets near you? You might want to try some different zips to see if those Targets have gotten any more recently (some stores seem to get them often and some very rarely)

lol idk. everywhere i try i feel hopeless. its such a familiar feeling to me now. walk in the store, go to the video game section in a hurry, go to the Wii section, look on the bottom where the consoles would be, see nothing but space, feel like crap, ask a salesperson, hear a NO. walk shamelessly out of the store feeling as though the wii gods do not like me.

I'll bet they have. TRU has been pretty reliable for the East Coast and New York TRU's had a lot at the end of this week.

Ack! No! This is not what to do. I know it sucks to talk to the salespeople, but you really have to. You need to know when their last shipment was, who was the carrier and what time it came. This makes ALL the difference! It tells you which days and times you should go to these stores! There is a pattern to this, but you have to talk to the salespeople in order to figure out what it is.

For example, Target no gets their wiis on Target trucks, so you go there before opening. Many TRU's, on the other hand, get their wiis via DHL, so you go there around opening and wait for the DHL delivery. CC's get theirs on their trucks, so opening is usually best.

Don't just walk in and out. When I was camped at my TRU waiting for DHL, I watched people do that and miss a wii by minutes. Tragic.

Oui. According to itrackr, that is. Although there is the possibility that 2 weeks ago is when that Target was added to itrackr for the wiis. How long have you been following itrackr? Was this Target always there?
