oh okay, yeah i figure ill get to Target at 630 then (opens at 8) and from there if they dont have it ill go right to best Buy which opens at 10, so i'll be there really early.

but yeah, sorry that i keep asking so many questions, im just desperate for a Wii lol.

Sounds good, but please remember to check the ads. It would suck to wait all that time for nothing. I have a feeling about TRU for you this week though. We'll see.

well in checking the ads, what am i checking for? if theyre having a sale? or something about Wiis...

i've been checking craigslist recently. you can actually find some people selling for practically retail price on there. I found a guy selling for 340 for console, and an extra controller and nunchuk. exchange a couple emails, he gives me a total and says he'll accept a wester union money transfer. HA! I laughed at him. I said unless he would take paypal, he was obviously running a scam. He said he would sign up for paypal, but it takes weeks to do that. HA AGAIN!! anyway, i've got a couple other people i'm trying to work a deal with. Don't rule out craigslist.

Just be sure to check the device before you pay. I heard of someone on here who was about to buy via craigslist, but the wii wouldn't even turn on.

Yup, you're basically looking for a mention of wiis in the gaming section of the ad. There's some sort of rule that if they advertise them they have to have a certain number in stock.

oh okay cool. ah man i really hope i can get one soon. but i do have alot of chances. goin to walmart tomorrow, goin to bestbuy monday, checkin toys r us every day starting tuesday, checking target and best buy on the 21st. i think i have a shot this time.

i really wish i had a friend that was also looking for a Wii. Basically every single one of my friends are hardcore Halo players, with the exception of a few ps2 players. I don't feel like camping out by myself. Anyone care to join?

Isn't it ridiculous the work that is currently required to get a wii?!?!

Ahh man, been there and done that, sorry. You won't be by yourself though and I'm sure you'll make lots of friends in line! I think one of the happiest moments I've had recently (besides getting the wii) was the morning after I got the wii, when I jolted awake and my mind started to race with thoughts of what stores I had to go to, etc....only to realize that I didn't have to get up that day and go look for a wii....and that I never had to do that again.

I could have cried...

ahh yeah it is. and to be honest, i've been waiting for Wii (and Zelda) since summer of 05... when i read about it in a magazine, when it was called Nintendo Revolution. I'm a Zelda fanatic.

ah man. a year and a half. long wait. i guess the good that comes out of this is that im gonna appreciate the wii alot more. i'll probably play it alot longer than anything else.
