Same for me. However, when they had the bundle available online at circuitcity.com, one of the CC's near me apparently had a few in stock from an email they sent me. That store changed to out of stock and now it's back to not carried.

Murais, I'm not sure that guy was telling you the truth. You're in Mass and that Stevo guy who just posted is also in Mass and his TRU just got wii's. So it's obvious not true that "nobody" is going to get them until February. Plus I don't think that anybody who works for GameStop really knows the innerworkings at Nintendo.

If the Best Buy and Target rumor is true (which I believe it is), I'm sure getting enough to those stores is definitely putting a strain on availability for other stores. So yeah, EBgames and Gamestop might not get as many for a while. You also have to remember that they have a buttload of stores to supply, so not all stores will be able to get them

It doesn't surprise me to hear that TRU is still getting them. They are a launch partner and, comparatively, have many fewer stores than EBGames/GameStop. So it is likely they will still get quite a few in their stores (less stores = more per store). TRU would be my preferred hunting ground for this week.

While I understand your frustration, I personally would not even consider craigslist or ebay until after next weekend. If the 21st sales rumor is a bust, then, heck, maybe it is worth it.

Yeah, I was feeling down after a particularly long and unsuccessful hunt. But I'm feeling up again because I talked to my friend who works at Target (who is also looking for a Wii), and his manager told him the 21st, which makes me believe that the rumor is true! So, rock on guys, just one more week!

I'm really glad to hear further confimation of the 21st rumor. Please circulate the info you've been given widely so people know they can get them soon, which will hopefully drive down e-bay prices.

Yes, apparently wiis will be on p.6 of next week's Target flyer. As for Best Buy, all signs point to the 21st as well.....but....if I had the day off and could get there at opening, would I go...heck yeah! If nothing else, than to ask them about the 21st in person.

I didn't get one in Springfield because a huge ice storm took all of the stores out of commission until I left... such rotten luck. My parents said they won't buy my gift card from me so I am stuck with Wal Mart... ugh! Does anyone have any information on when Wal Mart is going to restock? [cries]

i'm going to call up walmart and toys r us tomorrow. maybe some gamestops. is there any other places i should call? sounds like every other place isn't currently putting out.

Ok, i am going to best buy, not target on the 21st, when should i go i have 2 options:
1. The night before 10-11PM
2. The next morning at 6AM

Please give me your opinions!

Personally, I would still call both stores and get verification that they will have units AND how many units they will have. If you get an affirmative from one and a maybe for another, then your choice is clear. I wish I could tell you that I feel totally comfortable saying you'll get one if you go to either store at 6am, but I can't.

kristi, im almost 100% sure my best buy will have them, and i need to get it there due to gift cards, also i live in a VERY large city(miami), they usually only get around the minimum of 25 tho..
