TRU does not make you buy a bundle. I got my wii there. I have heard reports of people being made to buy the replacement plans, but while I elected to purchase one, I was not forced in any way.

*shrugs* Notice I said "may", I'm not guaranteeing you anything. I had itrackr for 2 weeks tracking 10 stores with nary a peep. Then I got 5 alerts in two days. Without itrackr, I would not have gotten my Wii.

well, my local walmart already got their ups in, and they didn't get any. i just called toys r us, and the girl checked and she said "no we didn't, not yet" Now how often should i keep calling back without pissing them off? i'm hoping not yet means they will be getting some as opposed to i have no clue.

When did you last call? Their DHL shipments usually come around 11:00. I would give them a call back in hour intervals until about 1:00 or so and say, "I'm very sorry to bother you again, but has DHL delivered yet?" and if the answer is 'yes', say "Thank you. Do you happen to know if they brought any wiis?".

i last called about 10:50. maybe i'll call again around 11:30? Last time i was in the toys r us store, i was the only person in the electronics section. I'm wondering if thats because no one thinks of toys r us, or because it was 4 oclock.

Call 'em back at 11:30 (or better yet, go down there if you can, as it has been confirmed that not all employees are truthful/knowledgeable on the phone).

I don't believe that is true. Those stores get their deliveries via UPS, who is delivering today.

Wow. That's a good sign. When you call back I would try to catch her name. That way, when you keep calling you can say "Hi Heather" and "Thank You, Heather". She sounds like a good contact, so you probably want to stay on her good side!

ah godamnit. I just called and some other guy picked up. I said 'hi i was wondering if your dhl shipment came in yet'. He said ' no, we're not getting any nintendo wii's in today.

I don't see how he can know that. DHL does deliver on MLK day. He has no way of knowing what the DHL guy will bring. I was at my TRU when my wii was delivered. The employees had NO idea it was coming. It was a huge shipment and they didn't even know that a large shipment was coming, irregardless of what was on it. I found out they were wiis from the delivery guy.

I would call back in a bit, and first confirm that their wiis are still coming via DHL and then ask if DHL has come. If he gives you the same "no wiis" answer, say to him, "Thank you, but can I confirm that DHL has already come?".

i still have a gamestop and 2 ebgames to try today. i doubt they'll come in

Probably no such thing as too early in this case! If you're worried about being too early, drive by the store every couple of hours to see if there is anyone waiting. As soon as a line starts to form, get your butt in line.
