Still on the Search for Wii?

yeah i really don't want to be waiting out for a Wii 2 months after launch. I'm hoping I can get one at EB/GS or TRU this week. If I have to, my friends and I are goin to play Mario Kart DS all morning to pass the time

Anyone living in Northern N.J, the TRU in Rockaway, NJ just got a stock full of Wii's and controller + Nuchucks.

You guys, I would be ripshit if I was told to come back the 21st. It means they've already got some Wiis IN. Technically, I thought they weren't supposed to be holding them anymore? It's retarded. I would seriously complain to a manager and see about getting one the day you go in. You can explain to them that it isn't fair to people who have been searching forever and would just like to get their Wii when it is in stock. You're not guarenteed a Wii even if you do show up for this massive sale, or whatever... I'd be doing some major complaining if I were you guys!

thanks for the info there are many targets within a 10-15 mile radius.
Target opens at 8, so i am think to start a 6:15-6:30 and drive around if there are less then 10 at the first place i am going there. It will be just me and my dad though, so i am not sure if i leave one store, by the time i come back there might be too many people there. I guess i need some luck!

I just called TRU today.

They had 6 wiis and a few wiimotes.

I live 20 min away. By the time I go there about 30 min later, they were all gone.

well i went to Best Buy today at opening. no Wiis.

... and i went to toys r us at 2. no wiis, he saidd they wont get any for another 3 weeks. im pissed . hopefully the target/best buy Jan 21st rumor is true.

well i called toys r us again around 1 something, and asked if they got any. he said no. so i said, i guess dhl already came in? and he said "actually, no, we won't be getting any shipments in today because we're currently doing inventory" not quite sure what that means. but i called again tonight and they said they didn't get any in today, and that they actually haven't gotten any in today for the past couple of weeks.

also, i called eb games again before i went to work at about 1, and they said no, they definitely won't be getting any in because its a holiday and they won't be getting deliveries- which is a lie.

I hope so too, this is getting really old. I did ask the one lady at the Mission Viejo Store to confirm that they would be in Sunday's Ad, and she said " I cant confirm that". So I asked her to deny it and she grinned and said " I cant confirm that."
